Scarlett's Sunday Selfie

While Connecticut shelters in place, many of the awesome and adoptable PAWS kitties are being cared for in wonderful, loving foster homes. One of those cats is beautiful Scarlett, who (as evidenced by these great photos from her foster mom - our friend and fellow volunteer, Pam), seems to be enjoying spending some time in a real home.

According to her description, Scarlett is a friendly gal who came to us when her family moved and left her behind. She loves to be petted, and loves a good lap, but will sometimes nip because she's a little undersocialized. Because of this, she should go to a home with no kids and experienced pet parents. Scarlett gets along with most other nice cats, but would also be happy as a one and only kitty. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Scarlett is all ready to find her happily ever after! Is it with you?

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Our Ava

This is our beautiful, sweet and silly PAWS graduate, Ava. She and her sister, Gracie, make us laugh and smile each and every day. The love and happiness they bring to our home has been especially wonderful during all this sheltering in place!

Easy Like Sunday Selfie - Oreo

Our awesome and adoptable friend, Oreo, is doing really well in her foster home, proving exactly what we've known all along. This ladycat is SO ready to find her very own, for real happily ever after! 💖

The first and third photos were taken while Oreo was at PAWS. The middle shot was submitted recently by Oreo's foster family.

According to Oreo's foster peep, she "loves to watch birds at the feeder from my window and keeps me company while I work on the computer." Hmm. And now, for your mid-week viewing pleasure, here's our very own sweet and beloved 19 year-old Gracie. Isn't she adorable?

Mandy and Tiffany are both a little shy at first, but once they know you, they love attention. They get along well with other nice cats, and will absolutely blossom in a forever home. (Almost) Wordless - Charlie ISO Her Happily Ever After

Can you believe our straight-up adorable pal Charlie is still looking for her forever home? It's true, but it all comes down to timing. Right after we posted about Charlie in early March, she got sick. Nothing serious, but just enough to keep her out of the "available" category for a bit. Well, she's all better now, and SO ready to find her fairy tail ending.

Three year-old Charlie loves people, being pet, and playing. She is microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She would do best as an only pet, but that just means more quality time for this precious ladycat and whoever is lucky enough to adopt her. All Charlie needs is a chance. Could it be with you?

 

Easter Olive Selfie, and Happy Easter!

Here's hoping your Easter is as sweet as our beautiful and adoptable pal Olive. Isn't she lovely?

This awesome ladycat came to PAWS after her family moved to a place where pets were not allowed. It sure does make us sad that a friendly, outgoing kitty like Olive couldn't accompany her family when they relocated. But don't fret. We will find her a for real happily ever after!

Olive is comfortable around children and gets along with other nice cats, but she would also be happy as your one and only best buddy. And we have a strong suspicion she might be a lapcat once she's in her forever home.💖 We hope it finds her real soon.
