(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Miley

This is our awesome buddy, Miley. Those of you who've been following our blog for awhile may remember this gorgeous ladycat, as we've posted about her before. Believe it or not, she's still waiting for her forever home. We just know it's out there somewhere. We just have to find it!

Miley is about 9 years old, spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She loves spending time with her volunteer friends, and her favorite thing is a good lap. In true tortie style, though, she'll let you know when she's had enough or is not in the mood. There's nothing wrong with being honest, right? She gets along with other nice cats (as long as she can be the boss), but would also be very happy as your one and only. Miley has been waiting so long for her happily ever after. Could you make her fairy tail come true?

 

Zoe's Sunday Selfies

Check out these selfies from our gentle and adoptable friend, Zoe. Don't you just love her shiny black fur, big, round eyes, and sweet face?

Zoe first came to PAWS as a stray with her kittens in tow. Those sweet babies have been weaned and adopted, and now its Zoe's turn to find her forever home. She is friendly and loves attention from people, but is not real keen on other pets, so she should be your one and only. But there's nothing wrong with having a best friend, right?  Zoe is about two years old. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Zoe is so ready to find her happily ever after. We hope she finds it real soon.

(Almost) Wordless Co-workers, and a Happy Birthday

This working from home stuff isn't so bad. My new supervisors, Gracie and Ava, are kind of strict, but I have a feeling that they totally love me!

They're also good about recognizing employee achievements (like food distribution and the doling out of pets and scritches) and celebrating important days.

Like today, which is Mom Tracey's birthday. We love her to the moon and back, and think she's the best cat mom and wife ever!

Mimi's Sunday Selfie

Happy Selfie Sunday from our sweet and gentle friend, Mimi. As you can see from these photos, this adorable tuxedo ladycat is pretty skilled at taking selfies. Look at her awesome whiskers! :) 

Mimi is only about year old. She can be a little shy at first, but once she knows you, she LOVES being pet and getting attention. She gets along with other nice kitties, but would also be fine as your one and only. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Mimi wants everybuddy to know she is a very good girl. Now all she needs is to find her happily ever after. We hope it finds her at PAWS real soon.

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Lucky Cat

Working from home right now? Do you need an excellent and experienced supervisor (read: faithful best friend) for your new home office? If so, this is your LUCKY day.

Handsome and gentle Lucky was surrendered when his former family moved. It breaks our hearts that he was given up, especially because his people said he was friendly and playful, followed them around the house, and that he enjoyed sitting on his kitty condo and watching "Bird TV." He's a little confused right now about the unfamiliar sights, sounds, and smells of the shelter, but we can already tell the reports we got were true. Lucky is definitely a very nice boy.

4 year-old Lucky is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. All he needs now is a second chance. Could it be with you?

 

Paula's Sunday Selfies

Check out this selfie taken by our super friendly new pal, Paula. Isn't she cute?

Paula is kind of unique. Not for something she has, but rather for something she does NOT have. Can you see what's missing in this photo?

How about in this one?

Yup. This pretty kitty is a Manx, so instead of a long tail like most cats, she has a cute little bunny tail. Add to that Paula's sweet-natured personality, love of people, and ability to get along with other kitties, and you've got 100 percent adorable.

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Abe

Check out our gentle and adoptable buddy Abe. When he wasn't posing for these photos, he was sitting in my lap. Yup, you read that right. This dude is more than just a handsome face. He also happens to be a bonafide lapcat. 😺

Abe is about 3 years old. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccinations. This friendly guy loves people, and gets along well with other nice cats. But he'd be perfectly happy as your one and only, if that's how you roll. Abe has tested positive for FIV, but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life! According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species. Abe is so ready to find his happily ever after. Is it with you?
