(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Abe

Check out our gentle and adoptable buddy Abe. When he wasn't posing for these photos, he was sitting in my lap. Yup, you read that right. This dude is more than just a handsome face. He also happens to be a bonafide lapcat. 😺

Abe is about 3 years old. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccinations. This friendly guy loves people, and gets along well with other nice cats. But he'd be perfectly happy as your one and only, if that's how you roll. Abe has tested positive for FIV, but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life! According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species. Abe is so ready to find his happily ever after. Is it with you?

 

Sweet Rocca's Selfie, with Video!

Much to our disbelief, our amazingly purrfect friend, Rocca, is still waiting to be discovered by her new forever family. C'mon ... just look at her in this sweet selfie. Who could possibly resist that cute little face?

This is our sweet and adoptable friend, Charlie. Isn't she adorable?

Notice the look she's giving me, especially in that second photo. It's like, "please put that camera down, meowmeowmans, and give me some attention." Yup. I'm pretty sure that's what Charlie is thinking, since this cutie loves hanging out with her human friends, being pet, and playing when the mood strikes. Charlie is about three years old, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Sadly, she's at PAWS because her owner passed away. Lilly's Sunday Selfie

This week's Sunday Selfies are brought to you by our beautiful and adoptable friend, Lilly. We're so happy she stepped up to show everyone her baby blues, as it's a clear indication that she's feeling more and more confident. Just last week, she was nervous about looking directly at the camera, and it showed in all the photos we took of her. But what a difference a week makes, right? Her selfies turned out great!

Lilly is about 8 years old, and ended up at PAWS when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. She likes people, and gets along with other nice cats, but could also be fine as your one and only. Come meet Lilly today, and fall in love!

Morey is about three years old, and available for adoption at PAWS. He loves people, and gets along with other nice cats. Word is that he'd also probably be okay with a cat-friendly dog. Morey is seriously that chill. Except for when he's on that catnip. 😹

 

Hunter's Sunday Selfie

As we so often do, we asked the adorable and adoptable PAWS cats who wanted to take this week's Sunday Selfie. Look whose paw shot up like there was no tomorrow. It's our super handsome pal, Hunter!

He kind of knocked it out of the park, huh? No wonder he was so eager. 😸

Hunter is about 1 1/2 years old, and was saved from a high-kill shelter after being surrendered there by his previous owners. He's been through a lot, but with the love and care he is now receiving, his sunny disposition and playful demeanor are really starting to emerge.
