Selfies with Sunrise and Sunset

When we asked who wanted to try their paw at taking a selfie for this week's post, we were a little surprised when our new friends, Sunrise and Sunset, volunteered. After all, their information cards list them as being "friendly but nervous." But as you can see from their excellent selfies, they seem to be getting over their nervousness!

These handsome brothers are about one year old. They are neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. As mentioned, they are new at the shelter, but we can already report that they are nice boys who like getting attention, playing and being pet. They are bonded, and we would love for them to be adopted together. Sunrise and Sunset are waiting at PAWS to meet their new forever family. We hope it finds them soon!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Hope

We're not exaggerating when we tell you that everyone who meets our pal Hope loves her. Just look at these adorable photos of her. And she's got a personality to match! This sweetheart, who gets along well with other cats, is super friendly, playful, and super snuggly. 💖

Hope is about 8 months old. She is microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She does have a heart murmur, and will need further testing to determine what can be done to help her. Hope is a special girl who has so much love to give. Now these are what we would call selfies to the max! Better yet, these are what are known as selfies from the Max, because the star of them is our sweet but shy friend, MAX. 💖

Max is a very good boy who is still getting used to the sights, sounds and smells of the shelter. We can certainly understand being nervous when you don't know anyone. Over the past few weeks, Max has been growing in confidence, and in the realization that his human pals are sources of kindness and love. Not to mention food. Max likes to play, gets along with other nice cats, and enjoys being pet once he knows you. He's got quite the purr! We know he will blossom in a quiet home with a patient family. Max, who is about 7 months old, is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV.  All he needs is a chance. Is it with you?

(Almost) Wordless - Penny

If ever there was the embodiment of "a pretty penny," it's our amazing and adoptable friend Penny. Look at that shiny coat, that adorable face, and those sparkling eyes ... such a beautiful housepanther! And her personality is just as awesome. Penny is a total sweetheart.

Penny is about 3 years old. She's spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She likes being pet, getting chin scritches, and playing. Oh, and lest we forget, she loves hanging out with her human pals at the shelter. That's why we're so sure she will be an awesome best friend for whoever is lucky enough to adopt her. Emerald's Sunday Selfie

It baffles our minds that sweet and beautiful Emerald is still waiting to find her forever home. It may be because she loves people, but isn't fond of other animals. But hey, that just means she'll be the awesomest one and only best buddy to the human lucky enough to adopt her, right? With hopes that Emerald's fairy tail ending will find her soon, here's her gorgeous selfie. 💖

(Almost) Wordless Rocca, with Video!

Those of you who follow our blog know we're huge fans of black cats. Well, we love ALL cats, but there's just something wonderful about a housepanther, isn't there? Take our beautiful and adoptable friend, Rocca, for example. Isn't she gorgeous?

Rocca also happens to be beautiful on the inside. As you can see from this short video, she's gentle and sweet as can be. The video is very brief! We hope you'll watch it, so you can see what Miss Rocca is all about.
