Anna, who is about 2 years old, ended up at PAWS after being found as a stray. She is currently recovering from a broken hip, but her mobility is rapidly improving! She is not yet spayed, so while she can be put on hold, she can't leave PAWS just yet. Anna is microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Franky, who is about 3 years old, came to PAWS after being found as a stray. He's still a little nervous about the unfamiliar sights, sounds and smells of the shelter, but is making great progress. He likes to be pet and loves to play. Because he can get a bit carried away when he plays, he would be best with experienced adopters who let Franky get used to his new home at his own pace. This sweet girl is the sister of Flurry. Believe it or not, they're both still waiting to be discovered at PAWS! We hope they find their happily ever afters real soon. Ember is about 6 months old. Like her brother, she is a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she loves to play and have attention from her human pals. (Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Noni

Check out our adorable friend, Noni! This little cutie ended up at PAWS after being found as a stray. She can be a wee bit shy with new people, but it doesn't take long until she comes right up for some good old-fashioned petting. And she has quite the purr motor! Noni is super sweet, and gets along well with other nice cats. As you can see from the action shots below, she also loves to play!

Easy Like Sunday Selfie - Columbus

This here is our handsome, gentle, and all around awesome pal Columbus. Even though tomorrow is "Columbus Day" here in the United States, it's entirely a coincidence that this adorable adoptable is handling this week's selfie duties. Maybe kitty Columbus knew that tomorrow is HIS day? We hope this delightful mancat discovers his happily ever after real soon.

Columbus is about 9 years old, and finds himself at PAWS after his owner had to enter a care facility that does not allow pets. He is friendly and sweet, loves people, and gets along with the other nice cats in his room. Columbus is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. (Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Mishu

Did you know that October is Black Cat Awareness Month? It's true! And in keeping with that theme, we present our handsome and gentle housepanther friend, Mishu. He wants everyone to know he is a very good boy, and that he will be the bestest best friend for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him. (We will 100% vouch for him, by the way). 💖

Mishu is about 2 years old, and came to PAWS after he was found as a stray. He loves to be petted and brushed, loves people, and gets along with other nice cats. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccinations. Mishu has tested positive for FIV, but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life. According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species. Come meet Mishu today, and fall in love!

It's not that our beautiful pal Kea's first selfie session wasn't good. It's just that we wanted to share these new selfies with everyone to show how much her confidence has grown. Just look at her posture and bearing, and compare it to her previous selfies. You can see the change, right? Kea is so much more confident, happy, and ready to find her new forever home!
