1100 Posts / (Almost) Wordless Wednesday

Before we get to this week's (Almost) Wordless Wednesday, cartoon Gracie and Ava have some exciting news ... this is post number 1100 here at Animal Shelter Volunteer Life! 😺

Once again, reaching this "milestone number" post really surprised us. We never imagined this little blog, started by Mom Tracey in 2008, would have such longevity, or that we'd be here so many years later, still sharing about the amazing cats we're blessed to love and meet during the time we spend volunteering at PAWS. We couldn't do it without the love and support of our friends and followers. Thank you for always rooting for us, and for the encouragement, strength and joy with which you continue to gift us!

Easy Like Sunday Selfie - Boston

Our adoptable pal Boston is as handsome as they come. He also happens to be one of the friendliest mancats we know. As one of the official "greeters" in PAWS Lobby Room One, he's always the first kitty to greet any and all people lucky enough to visit him and his roommates.

It's clear Boston is extremely photogenic and skilled at taking selfies. As you can see from the second photo, he's also pretty adept at doing the Easy. 😸 Two year-old Boston is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He loves humans, and gets along well with other nice cats. Boston is all set to find his happily ever after. Is it with you?

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Pumpkin

This is our beautiful and gentle ginger tabby pal, Pumpkin. Although she's a little shy at first, all of her human pals can attest to the fact that she's a real sweetheart. 

Pumpkin is about 8 months old, spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She gets along well with other nice cats (like the ones in her room at PAWS), and would be a great companion for another kitty. She likes to play and be pet, and will blossom in a quieter home. Pumpkin is so ready to find her forever home. Come meet her today, and fall in love!

Pizelle's Sunday Selfies

This is our sweet and adoptable friend, Pizelle. Isn't she lovely? As you can see, when we asked her to take some selfies, she gave us a traditional look, and threw in left and right profile shots, too. Purrfect! 😻

Pizelle is only 1 1/2 years old. She's spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She loves people and gets along with other cats. All Pizelle needs now is to be discovered by her forever best friend. Could it be you?

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Frankie

Happy Wednesday from our pretty and super sweet buddy, Frankie! This terrific tabby is uber friendly and very affectionate. She absolutely adores her human pals (the feeling is mutual!), and loves being petted and brushed.

Frankie is only about 4 1/2 years old. She's spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She gets along with other nice cats, but could also be happy as your one and only. Frankie has SO much love to give. And who doesn't need more love in their life? Come meet Frankie today!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Tyger

Tyger is a handsome, gentle mancat who ended up at PAWS after being found as a stray. He's still getting used to the shelter, and can be a little shy with new people. But he's gaining in confidence every day. We can already see that he's sweet through and through. In fact, there's not a mean bone in Tyger's body. 💖

Tyger is about 10 years old. He loves people and gets along well with other nice cats. He'll make a wonderful best friend for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him. He's neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIN and FeLV. Tyger is so ready to find his happily ever after. Could it be with you?
