Mason's Sunday Selfie
This here is our new friend, Mason. As you can see, he's handsome, adorable and knows how to take a mighty fine selfie.😸
Mason is about 5 years old. This wonderful mancat ended up at PAWS when his family fell on hard financial times and could not afford to pay for his food or care. He's still getting used to the unfamiliar sights, sounds and smells of the shelter, but it's already abundantly clear that he is a sweet and gentle kitty. He is friendly and loves to be petted. Mason is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. He has lived with other cats and children and did well with both. Now, he's ready to find his new happily ever after, so come meet Mason today!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Ginger
This beautiful kitty is our lovable and gentle friend, Ginger.
Ginger found her way to PAWS as a very pregnant stray cat. As often
happens in such cases, her (7) beautiful babies have already been adopted.
But because Ginger is so
quiet and shy with people she does not know, she keeps being overlooked
by potential adopters.
Those people are totally missing out. Ginger is super sweet, and allows all petting and
brushing with no aggression at all.
All she needs to blossom is a patient loving human and a quiet home.
Ginger is about 3 years old. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. Ginger would also be a good companion for another
quiet or shy adult cat. Come meet her today, and fall in love! 💖

Charlotte's Selfies
This week's super adoptable selfies are brought to you by our sweet and beautiful friend, Charlotte. Look at those whiskers. Those eyes. That face! Adorable, right?
Super friendly Charlotte ended up at PAWS after being found as a stray. She enjoys being petted and brushed, and loves getting attention from her people friends. This two year-old gets along with other nice cats, but would also be happy as an only kitty. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. Please note that Charlotte has tested positive for Heartworm, and that her life expectancy is unknown. There is a chance she could succumb to heart problems in a month, or she could live for another 10 years or more. Because of this, Charlotte can be adopted at no fee. She's wonderful, and we sure hope that some lucky adopter takes a chance on this special kitty. Come meet Charlotte today!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday
Happy Wednesday greetings, from our own sweet Gracie. As you can see, our adorable little senior housepanther is planning to dress up as a bunny rabbit for Halloween. And she's bringing along a little friend!
Thank you to our wonderful friend, Ann, at Zoolatry for making Gracie's Halloween wish come true. For the month of October, Zoolatry has been transformed into BOOalatry. Be sure to visit to see which other anipals Ann is making costumes for this month! :)
Gracie already has a loving forever home here with us, but there are still plenty of awesome PAWS cats waiting patiently for their very own happily ever afters. Like our awesome, adoptable pal Suzette!
Suzette is about 9 years old. She is a complete sweetheart who loves hanging out with her human friends, and being pet and brushed. Suzette would do best in a quieter home. She is fine with other nice cats, but would also do well as your one and only. She's spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, negative for FIV and FeLV, and ready to find her new best friend. Is it you?

Titus on Selfie Sunday
Meet our handsome and snuggly new friend, Titus! If you're thinking he looks like a big ol' sweetheart of a mancat, you're absolutely right. Even though he's a little hesitant at first, once Titus knows you, he's total lapcat who's quickly become a favorite among the PAWS volunteers and staff. And it's clear he's had some practice at this selfie thing. He's got some serious selfie skills! 😸
Titus is about 6 years old. He's neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccinations. He gets along well with other nice cats, but would also do well as an only kitty. Titus has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but that does not mean he can't live a long and happy life. According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and
duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental
issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy,
wonderful pets." With autumn upon us, and temperatures dropping, wouldn't it be nice to have a snuggle buddy of your very own? Come meet Titus today!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Gerdy
This is our gentle and beautiful friend, Gerdy.
Those of you who have been following our blog for a long time might remember this sweetheart, who was originally adopted from PAWS in March of 2010.
Sadly, Gerdy's human recently had to move into a nursing home, and was not able to take her sweet kitty with her. So Gerdy finds herself back at the shelter, in search of a new forever home. These situations always break our hearts, but we are glad that PAWS always takes in former residents when their people can no longer care for them.
It's clear to us that Gerdy was loved and well-cared for all these years. She is as beautiful as ever, and still possesses the same sweet disposition. She loves attention and being pet. She gets along with other nice cats, but would also be fine as your one and only. Gerdy is so ready to find her new happily ever after. Is it with you?
