(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Patches

Our adoptable friend Patches is more than just a pretty face. She also happens to possess an incredibly loving disposition and a super sweet personality. Just two years old, this gorgeous calico came to PAWS when her human developed allergies (editor's note: as someone who is allergic to cats, I truly hope Patches' human tried everything possible before giving her up). Patches is a really good kitty, who loves people and gets along well with other nice cats. She is spayed, micro-chipped, current on her vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. Now all she needs is a chance to find her real happily ever after. Is it with you?

Mrs. Fields' Sunday Selfies

A kitty named Mrs. Fields? Like the famous cookie brand? It's true. But we'll let you in on a little secret ... THIS Mrs. Fields is way sweeter than any cookie could ever be. She absolutely adores humans, and could hardly contain her excitement when we visited with her today. We made sure to give her lots of snuggles, pets and lap time. She absolutely loved it. And talk about photogenic. When we asked her to pose for some selfies, she totally nailed them. See for yourself!

Mrs. Fields is only about 1.2 years old, but she has already had kittens (and yes, they all have cookie names), who are all being cared for in foster until they are old enough to be adopted. Now that Mrs. Fields has been spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, she's all set to enjoy being some lucky adopter's forever baby. (Almost) Wordless Hazel

Happy Wednesday from our super sweet and adoptable friend, Hazel. Get a load of her spectacular markings. Isn't she gorgeous? 😺

Hazel is about 2 years old. This beautiful calico ladycat loves her human pals, and gets along well with other nice kitties, too. She's spayed, micro-chipped, current on her vaccinations and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Hazel is waiting patiently at PAWS to be discovered by her forever best friend. Mindy's Sunday Selfies

Our pretty tuxedo pal, Mindy, was pretty scared when she first arrived at PAWS. But something told us all that underneath the hissing and whapping exterior was a nice kitty. And guess what? Our suspicions were correct! With regular love and attention from the staff and volunteers, Mindy has started to realize that people aren't so bad after all. In fact, she loves to play and even likes being pet. And, as you can see, she also takes an awesome selfie. 😸

Mindy is about one year old. She gets along well with other nice cats, and would do best in a patient home where she is allowed to get used to things on her own schedule (we have no doubt that she will blossom as she feels safe and comfortable). Mindy is spayed, micro-chipped, current on her vaccinations and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She's ready to find her happily ever after. All she needs now is a chance. Is it with you?

Our Housepanthers Gracie and Ava!

Check out what we won in a drawing held by our beloved pals at Cat Chat with Caren and Cody! It's a Mega Milk Carton from Cat in the Box! Cute, isn't it? Thank you, Caren and Cody! Here are a couple of snaps of Gracie and Ava giving it a try.

Ava went in briefly, but seems to prefer being next to the milk carton.

Speaking of our housepanthers, some of you have asked how our senior ladycat Gracie and her young sister Ava are getting along these days. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and Tracey recently took this one.

Yes, Ava was watching a bird and squirrel video on her Kindle. Gracie appears to have joined her.

Gracie and Ava get along well, but usually do their own thing. This is the first time we've seen them cuddling together. 💖

Sherry and Sebastian ended up at at the shelter because their person had too many pets, and could not care for them all. These two adorable cats are about 10 1/2 years old, spayed/neutered, current on their vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. They get along well with other nice cats, enjoy their human pals, and like to play (especially Sherry!). We'd love to see them adopted together. Sherry and Sebastian are waiting at PAWS to find their happily ever after. Maybe it's with you?

As you can see, our sweet and adoptable friend Mandolin is a serious cutie pie. She's a good girl, who likes hanging with her human pals, playing and being pet. She's also a good listener, and kind of on the quiet side.
