Selfie Sunday: Chatty Cathy

This is our gorgeous new friend, Chatty Cathy. As you might gather from her moniker, she's a great conversationalist. But when she found out we were looking for some snaps for the Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, she wasn't really in the mood to talk. It's true! Chatty Cathy takes her selfies seriously, and totally brought her "A" game for her photo shoot. 😺

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Maddie

Everybody's in love with our adoptable friend Maddie. And why wouldn't they be? As you can see in these photos, this little tabby ladycat is a real cutie patootie. Those of us who are lucky enough to know her in person can also vouch for her amazingly soft fur, penchant for play and superior lap-warming skills. 💖

Maddie is about 3 years old. She's spayed, micro-chipped, current on her vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. Maddie would be a great addition to almost any furever family. She gets along with other nice kitties, but would also do fine as your one and only best friend. Come meet her today!

Sunday Selfie Sweet Tart

It's Sunday, which means we're hopping along in the Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. Wait until you get a look at the kitty who stepped up to the camera this week. That sweetheart is our gentle, lap loving friend, Sweet Tart. Unlike the sugary candies by the same name, this ladycat doesn't have a bit of sourness. She's made of 100% love and goodness.

Sweet Tart is about 12 years old, but she wants everyone to know that doesn't make her "old." It just means she has had more practice at how to love on her human friends. It also means she qualifies for the PAWS Senior Pension Plan, which includes: no adoption fee, an annual wellness exam, vaccinations and blood work analysis for free for the rest of her life. Sweet Tart is spayed, micro-chipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She does have some arthritis, but does very well (especially because she'd rather curl up on a lap or a nice bed than run around), and diabetes (which is in remission through diet), but Sweet Tart has so much love to give to whoever is lucky enough to adopt her. (Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Cotton

Look at THIS handsome little mancat! This is our gentle and adoptable friend, Cotton. And yes, he really is as sweet and adorable as these photos make him look. 😻

Cotton is about 6 months old. He's neutered, micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He's a very good boy, and gets along with other nice kitties. With looks and a résumé like his, we're guessing Cotton won't have to wait at PAWS for his happily ever after for too long.

Easy Like Sunday Selfies - James

This good-looking little dude is our new friend, James. He's friendly, playful and talkative. In these photos, he seems to be saying, "Hi everybuddy! I'm hoping and wishing for a forever family of my very own. Maybe it could be YOU! What do you think?"

James is about 11 months old. He's neutered, micro-chipped and current on his vaccinations. He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He's so ready to find his happily ever after. Now all he needs is a chance, so come meet this awesome kitty today!

(Almost) Wordless Sophie

You know how some of us age more gracefully than others? Well, that's certainly how it is with our super sweet and adoptable friend, Sophie. Can you believe this gorgeous ladycat is 18 1/2 years old?

Sophie likes hanging out with her people pals, enjoys some good old-fashioned lap time, and loves to play. Yes, you read that right ... this mature feline is absolutely still in touch with her inner kitten, and is not averse to a spirited game of batting a toy on a string and/or chasing the red (laser) dot. Sophie, who ended up at PAWS when her family lost their home, is spayed, micro-chipped, and current on her vaccinations. She has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Easy Like Sunday Selfie - (Our) Gracie

It's Sunday, which means we're hopping along in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by our beloved pals at the Cat on My Head. Anyhow ... when we asked for a volunteer selfie model, guess who stepped up? It's our beautiful former PAWS kitty, Gracie. Her snuggling, sunpuddle surfing and easy skills are already the stuff of legend, but as you can see, our senior housepanther ladycat can also still rock a selfie when the mood strikes.

Gracie (who lost her littermate, Zoe, in September) is doing well these days. She and her little sister Ava (who was specially chosen by our sweet Angel Zoe) are settling in to a really nice groove. They're still not best buddies, but are getting along just fine.😸
