Easy Like Selfie Sunday :)

It's Sunday, and around here, that almost always means a little bit of selfie, and a whole lot of easy. Let's start things off with a stunning selfie by our beautiful, quiet and reserved friend, Pumpkin.

As a female long-haired orange tabby, Pumpkin is a pretty rare kitty. She's still waiting to be adopted, and just needs a patient someone who will give her a chance. We are confident that she will blossom, and be a loving and loyal companion once she finds her forever home.

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Gabe! :)

This is our handsome, funny and adoptable friend, Gabe. Just look at that adorable face.

And that tongue! Nice raspberry, Gabe. ;)

Gabe is about 5 1/2 years old, and as has a personality that absolutely fills a room. He loves to play, is a catnip addict aficionado, and gets along with some other cats. Gabe is neutered, micro-chipped, and current on his vaccinations. He does get eye drops daily for an issue with chronic dry eyes, but he, as they say, "will work for food." Want a reason to laugh and smile every day? Then Gabe is the cat for you! Come meet him at PAWS today. :)

Easy Like Selfie Sunday :)

Around here, we always try to get in at least a little bit of rest and relaxation on Sundays. Here's our own sweet Gracie showing off her easy skills, amidst some of the wonderful toys made by our sweet pals at 15 and Meowing, before we took them to PAWS for the kitties there. :)

Sundays are also a great day for taking selfies, and for participating in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by our awesome friends, the Kitties Blue, at The Cat on My Head. Today, our guest selfie is taken by a handsome mancat named Kipling.

This super friendly guy was living on the streets of Norwalk, Connecticut. He was hanging out near a VERY busy road, and getting food from kindhearted construction workers who would share bits of their lunches with him. But with autumn already upon us, and winter on its coattails, Kipling needs a safe, warm and loving forever home.

Kipling is neutered and current on his vaccinations. He has tested positive for FIV+, but please don't let that stop you from adopting this special dude. After all, "...FIV-positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration," even though "...they do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection..." (Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Figaro!

Here's handsome, sweet and adoptable Figaro, playing with one of the awesome crocheted toys made by our awesome pals at 15 and Meowing (thank you, Kitties and Mom Ellen!). If you don't already know the whole gang there, you should definitely check them out! Anyway, back to Figaro... 

Figaro is amazing, and we're surprised he still hasn't found his forever home. He gets along with other cats, likes people, and is very playful. And just look at that adorable face! :) Figaro is about four years old, neutered, micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet him today!

Easy Like Selfie Sunday - Sparky 2

Hi there, everybuddy. My name is Sparky 2, and I'm one of the cats who are waiting at PAWS to find their happily ever afters. I was so excited when meowmeowmans and Tracey chose ME for today's Sunday Selfie!*

 

I was going for the "wistful" look. Did I do okay?

And here I am taking it easy after my selfie. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday, right? :)

Handsome and super-friendly Sparky 2 is about two years old. This happy-go-lucky gentle giant (tall and solid) gets along with most other cats, is fine with children, and would make a wonderful family pet. He's neutered, micro-chipped, and current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Please consider adopting this amazing mancat -- you, and Sparky 2 will be glad you did.

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Shippan

According to the sign on his cage door, handsome tabby Shippan is friendly, active and would make a terrific family pet.

As you can see from this picture, he's also pretty snuggly. And he enjoys reading, or at least "helping" his human pals (like Tracey), with reading.

Shippan is about 5 years old, neutered, micro-chipped, and current on his vaccinations. He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. With Fall upon us, doesn't curling up on the couch with a book and Shippan sound wonderful? He's at PAWS of Norwalk, CT. Come meet Shippan today!

Meow Like a Pirate Day!

Avast, fine mateys! Today (September 19th) be "Meow Like a Pirate Day" in the pet blogging world (and "TALK Like a Pirate Day" in the human world).

We (Captains Moosey, Gracie and Zoe) be sailing the high seas in search o' the most wonderful treasure - real-life forever homes fer all o' our amazin' and adoptable PAWS (where we learned all o' our scurvy pirate skills) kitty buckos.

This be our ship's flag!

Our fine vessel be havin' buckos aplenty, n' a wealth of provisions - tuna, shrimps, chick-hen, ham, cheese, catnip, sea monster spiced rum, cat milk, and temptations. N' toys, sea monster scratchers, feathers and beds for all who join us for the journey, so come along as we set sail! Me-aarrrgghh! :)
