(Almost) Wordless Cosette

This is our new pal Cosette, who as you can see is as cute as can be!

 

 

Cosette, who is about 11 months old, is curious, friendly and playful. We're not sure from her PAWS information card if she's quite ready for adoption yet, but we sure are enjoying getting to know her in the meantime! 💖

Our new friend Gladiator is one of those cats who just oozes love. Just look at that face (and that adorable blep)! 💖

 

One of the most utterly charming things about this handsome boy is that he's so unassuming. We could tell he was initially a little unsure of himself when we visited, but all it took was a few pets and chin scritches to convince him that we were sources of love. And Gladiator is all about the love, so it was 100% on after that! 💕

He will do great in a quieter forever home, and will be the most loyal and cuddly best friend for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him. Gladiator is about 2 1/2 years old, neutered, and current on his vaccinations. He's waiting at PAWS to find his happily ever after. Could it be with you?

(Almost) Wordless Merlot

Our amazing and adoptable friend Merlot is beautiful inside and out. As you can see from her photos, she's got eyes that sparkle and a coat that shines. 💖

 

What you might not be able to see, however, is that this lady housepanther also has an incredibly sweet and loving nature. She's always (and we mean always) up for being pet and snuggled (and we are always happy to oblige!). Merlot is about 3 1/2 years old, spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. Sefies by Breezy

Our handsome and adoptable pal Breezy is such a sweet and gentle boy.💖

 

From what we've been told, Breezy slipped out through a door that had been left open while people were working to rescue cats from a hoarding situation. He made his way to a managed cat colony just a few houses away, and it wasn't long before the caretakers saw just how friendly he was. This one-year-old mancat is still a bit shy with new people, but give him a minute and he'll purr up a storm and show you that he adores being pet and getting attention. Our adorable and adoptable pal Mickey Mouse was the first to speak up when we asked for volunteers for this week's selfie. And that shouldn't come as any big surprise since Mickey's a super talkative dude! 💖

Mickey was living as a super friendly stray and being fed by some nice people who knew in their hearts that he deserved a forever home of his very own. We're told his foster human would have kept him were it not for the serious objections of one of her other kitties. So now Mickey is at PAWS where he's waiting to be discovered by a lucky human. Thsi handsome fella adores people (lap cat, anyone?), is an amazing conversationalist, and gets along with other nice cats. Mickey is about 1 1/4 years old, neutered, microchipped, and ready to find his happily ever after. Could it be with you?

Check out our new buddy Bon Bon. The way she ran right up to us as at PAWS made us pretty certain she'd be excited to pose for this week's selfies. As you can see from these photos, she pawsatively was!

Bon Bon, who is about 2 1/2 years old, came to the shelter from a hoarding situation where there were more than 30 cats. She had also given birth to several litters of kittens before she was rescued. But that's all in the past now. Bon Bon loves people, and is super cuddly and playful (her zoomies totally cracked us up!). This beautiful ladycat is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. All sweet Bon Bon needs now is a forever loving home. Could it be with you?

This week's selfie is brought to you by none other than our handsome, snuggly, and adoptable pal Pedro Pusscal.  As you can see, he's an honest-to-goodness lapcat. 💖

 

 

Now that we're heading into the fall and winter months, who wouldn't want a sweet and purrfect forever best friend like Pedro to warm their lap and heart?

 

 

Pedro is about 3 1/2 years old. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccinations. He's waiting at PAWS to be discovered by his forever family, so come meet him today!

 

Like our very own beloved Target, Pedro has tested positive for FIV, but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life. According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species.

She also has some of the coolest tabby stripes on her back! 

Six-month-old Milla loves hanging out and getting love and attention from her human pals. She was recently added to the population of an open (cageless) room, and seems to be fine with other kitties, too. Milla is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. Our little friend Avery is both adorable and adoptable. As you can see from her photos, she's also pretty adept at posing for the camera!

 

This delightful ladycat, who is about 6 months old, is pretty new at the shelter. She's still adjusting to the unfamiliar sights, smells, and sounds, but she's definitely starting to learn that the humans at PAWS are good sources of love and care.
