Selfies by Ruger

Look who raised his gentle paw when we asked for a volunteer for this week's selfie. It's our sweet and adoptable buddy Ruger!

Ruger -- who is about a year old -- has gorgeous long white and black fur (including a floofy all-black tail). Add in that adorable pink nose and those bright yellow eyes, and you’ve got a total head-turner. But he’s not just a handsome face. Ruger also happens to be a well-mannered little gentleman with a stellar purrsonality.

This amazing dude was found wandering outside all by himself as an older kitten, but he hasn’t let his rough start dull his shine. After he adjusted to being at the shelter, he's really begun coming out of his shell. He enjoys being pet, soaking up attention, and just generally making the world a better place by being his delightful self. He also gets along with other nice cats.

Ruger is neutered, up to date on all his vaccinations, and ready to settle into his forever home. He’s all set -- he just needs a family to love. Could that be yours? Come meet him at PAWS today!

(Almost) Wordless Gorgon

We hope you're ready for some handsome, orange-y, middle-of-the-week mancat awesomeness, because here comes our adorable and adoptable friend Gorgon.

Yes, he really is as sweet and loving as he looks.

You may be able to tell from the first and third photos that Gorgon loves having his tummy rubbed. We were more than happy to cater to his whims after taking these photos.

This stunning two-year-old tabby ended up at PAWS after being found as a stray. His sweet and gentle nature has already made him a favorite among the shelter volunteers and staff. Gorgon adores people and thrives on affection, so we know he'll be the bestest best friend for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him. He is, however, wary of other cats (sadly, we suspect he may have been bullied while he was out on the streets), so he'd love a forever home where he is the only kitty. He's neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations, and ready to bring love and happiness into your life. Come meet Gorgon the Great today!

Selfies by Garbanzo

Meet our sweet and adoptable friend GarbanzoIf her stunning good looks don’t grab you right away, just wait until you experience her gentle heart.

Garbanzo is a gorgeous tabby with truly unique orange markings woven into her soft coat -- she’s one of those cats who turns heads and melts hearts. This one-year-old beauty came to PAWS after being abandoned outside by her jerky former people when they moved away.😠 It’s hard to imagine how anyone could leave behind such a lovely little soul, but we’re so grateful she’s safe now, and ready to find the forever family she deserves.

Garbanzo can be just a tiny bit shy with new faces at first, but she warms up quickly -- and once she knows you, you're in. This girl is loyal, loving, and ready to be your lifelong companion. She’s good with humans of all ages, making her a wonderful fit for many kinds of families.

Garbanzo is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and eagerly waiting to begin her next chapter.
Come meet your new best friend Garbanzo today -- she’s ready to love you forever. 💛🐾

(Almost) Wordless Sylvia

This beautiful little cutie pie is our pal Sylvia, whose heart is even bigger than her big, soulful eyes.

This petite, grey and white tuxedo ladycat is about 2 ½ years old, though her tiny frame and kitten-like charm might have you guessing younger. Don’t let her size fool you -- this sweet girl has been through a lot, and she’s come out the other side with nothing but love to offer.

Sylvia was rescued as a bottle baby from a tough hoarding situation, and things didn’t get easier right away. Her original adopter became homeless and ended up living in a car, doing their best. Ultimately, Sylvia needed a safer, more stable place to grow. And now she has that. She's safe and happy at PAWS, and finally ready to find a forever home where she can thrive.

Sylvia absolutely adores people. She's the kind of cat who melts into your hands when you pet her and purrs like there's no tomorrow. She’s affectionate, gentle, and so grateful for any love she gets. She also gets along with other friendly cats, so she could also be a good companion for another mellow kitty.

Sylvia is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to move in and start her new chapter. Come meet her today and fall in love!

Selfies by Carl Fredrickson

Can you believe that our adoptable pal Carl Fredrickson is as sweet as he is good-looking? It's true!

Carl, who is about three years old, was left behind by the people who were supposed to be his family.  (Reminder: pets are not disposable. If you're not ready to commit to their whole lives, maybe rethink the whole adoption thing. Just saying.) Thanks to some kind humans, he's now safe at PAWS, where he's finally getting the love he deserves.

Anyway, despite being abandoned, Carl is still a total sweetheart. This long-haired tuxedo gentleman is gentle, affectionate, and has the most expressive eyebrow whiskers you’ve ever seen. He’s also rocking a fantastic set of paws -- it's like he’s part cat, part teddy bear!

Carl is good with other nice cats and kind humans of all ages. He’s neutered, up to date on all his shots, and ready to start the next chapter of his life with someone who actually deserves him. All he needs now is for someone to say “you’re home.” Could it be you?

(Almost) Wordless Symphony

As you can see from these photos, our beautiful and adoptable friend Symphony knows a thing or two about posing for the camera.

This sweet brown tabby had it pretty rough before she found her way to PAWS. Symphony was abandoned and discovered in very poor condition, but made an incredible recovery thanks to the loving care of her foster family. After months of rest, healing, and plenty of TLC, Symphony is now thriving — and so, so ready to be adopted!

Symphony is about 2 years old, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to start the next chapter of her life. She’s a true delight -- happy, super friendly, and deeply affectionate. She loves spending time with her human friends and gets along well with other nice cats.

If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a loving heart and a story of strength, Symphony might be your perfect match. She’s ready for her happily ever after. Could it be with you?
