This adorable and super friendly dude was found wandering the streets, but was so nice that it was clear he had been dumped. It didn't take him long to be adopted once he was rescued. That was about one year ago. In a sad turn of events, Chubby's human has become quite ill and can no longer care for him, so he's back at PAWS and waiting for a new forever home. Chubby is about 9 years old, neutered, and current on his vaccinations. With his happy-go-lucky personality, he will be the purrfect addition to almost any family. Oh, that's really sad that his owner became ill and could no longer care for him!! I hope he finds a new home soon, and that his first owner takes care of themselves.
Terribly sad that Chubby's person could no longer care for him. Sending a ton of purrs that Chubby gets a home soon and that his person get the needed care too.
Aww, a big friendly teddy bear of a cat 😻. Another story like Big Merp, a big loveable guy who was left on the street, but found good people and a safe place. I hope he transitions to a forever home soon :)

He looks a very sweet boy and almost identical to a cat we once had "Tiddler". He was a man's cat and when my FIL passed he left home and moved in with us (about 200 yards!) When my MIL died he was less than impressed when her other 10 cats he thought he had got away from also moved in with us.

Sigh, speaking of Dumping, the man Mom got Nutmeg from left Lucifer (his cat) behind when he moved! Mom has been trying for 2 almost 3 weeks now to trap him so he can get neutered and then he will come back to live with our other neighborhood ferals. If the man had told us he was not going to take Lucifer, we could have taken him in without all the drama and trauma of the trying to trap him! People can be so selfish! Keep being awesome!
