FURever Home Friday :)

Looking to start your weekend with a BIG smile?  Well, you're in luck, because today is FURever Home Friday! :)

(from left) Mufasa, Leo and Maggie

After so many PAWS kitties found families in November and December, we all wondered what the new year would bring.  Well, guess what?  The January 2013 graduating class includes an amazing 21 cats!  Remember Leo And Mufasa?  They've both been adopted!  And what about volunteer favorite, sweet Maggie?  It turns out her new mommy was right under her nose ... Maggie has joined our fellow PAWS volunteer and friend Linda's kitty clan. :)

Here's the full list of January graduates (let the happy dancing commence):

Alexander
Anna
Chi-Lan
Claus
Codi
Everett
FaFa
Franny
Franz
Fritz
Hanz
Hera
Leo
Maggie
Nutmeg
Savannah
Stormy
Sven
Vivian
Zoey and Mufasa (together)

ConCATulations and much love to all of the graduates and their families.  Have a great weekend, everyone!

Oh! Excellent job everyone! You certainly made our weekend brighter!

On a very sad note, we are sure you see stories like Spencer's. We find it hard to believe someone would give up a pet of 10 years. We also think one of the two people involved needs to evaluate that situation. They could be in the same boat themselves in a few years.

Great job. I never know, either, how someone can give up a pet they've had for ten years, but then, you just never know what the circumstances are, really. Thank God Spencer is safe and loved -- that is so much more than can be said for so many cats this winter.

No, we hadn't heard about Spencer's new home! That is so totally awesome! Was it on FB? (We aren't) You really made our weekend, we'll be doing the happy dance till we drop! Do you have any details? Thanks for letting us know, dear furriends! We were so bummed over the whole sordid situation. We're so happy Spencer will have a family who will appreciate him more than the last.
