(Almost) Wordless Galley

Galley, who is just 1 1/2 years old, was rescued as a young mother. She did a wonderful job raising her kittens, and is now waiting at PAWS to find her happily ever after where she can be the beloved baby of the family. This kitty is a true love. Galley's foster mom used to take her daily to her job at the bookstore, where this sweet ladycat would greet everyone she met with love and kindness. Amazing Anchovy's Selfie

You're definitely in for a treat today, because today's selfie is brought to you by our amazingly handsome and adoptable friend Anchovy. We love his round face and big eyes, and check out his unique and super plush coat!

In our decades of volunteering at PAWS, we can count on one hand the times we've seen a cat with a smoke tabby fur like Anchovy. And we can tell you that the effect is even more special in person! Anchovy is a very sweet boy who was originally found and taken in as a kitten, and then (for some strange and ill-advised reason) released back outside. Thank goodness a good Samaritan found him and brought him to the shelter. He is such a love ... quiet, gentle, and loving. This nine month old can be a little shy with new people, but he warms up quickly. Once he does, he loves being pet and brushed, and purrs up a storm. Anchovy is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready to find his forever family. Could it be yours?

(Almost) Wordless Ryu

Who's sweet, grey, gentle and adorable all over? We're here to tell you that it's our amazing and adoptable pal Ryu!

We're so glad Ryu found his way to PAWS after he and his siblings were found in a dumpster without their mom. After being rescued, they were fostered in a home with other kitties, dogs, and humans, and as a result, we know Ryu gets along with just about everyone. It also means he'll be a wonderful addition to almost any family. Oh, and did we mention he's a snuggly lapcat (perfect for the coming winter months)? Ryu, who is about 7 months old, is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and so ready to find his forever home. Come meet him today and fall in love!

Are you ready for some seriously handsome selfies? We sure hope so, because our adoptable buddy Valentino is most definitely bringing the handsome today!

One of the thinga we love most about Valentino is that he's more than just a handsome face. He also happens to be just about the nicest kitty around. It's true! Right before he posed for his selfies, he was enjoying snuggles and pets from his human pals. He also gets along well with the other nice cats in his open room at PAWS. If you're searching for some serious midweek cuteness, look no further than our sweet, petite, and all around awesome friend Bindi!

This beautiful kitty, who is about 2 years old, was rescued from a home with way too many cats and horrible living conditions. Bindi was pregnant at the time, and safely gave birth to her babies in a foster home. Those little ones have all since been adopted, and now it's time for Bindi to find HER happily ever after where SHE can be a loving family's baby. She adores people (she's a true lapcat!) and gets along with other nice cats. Bindi is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and waiting at PAWS to meet her new BFF. Is it you?

We don't know too much about this little ladycat yet, but she has already shown us that she's a sweet and gentle kitty who enjoys being pet and engaging in conversation with her human pals. Handsome alert! Handsome alert! In case you're wondering, we're talking about our awesomely adoptable buddy Rawr Rawr, who as you can see is, well, super handsome.💖

 

Even though we only met him for the first time this past weekend, we can already tell you he's a sweet and affectionate dude. Rawr Rawr was rescued when he showed up one day in a feral cat colony and revealed himself to be anything but feral. After that, he did really well in his foster home, and is now waiting at PAWS to be adopted. Rawr Rawr, who is about 1 1/2 years old, gets along well with other cats and loves people. Magick's Selfies

This amazing and resourceful kitty was found on the streets, wandering from house to house and trying to get inside. Her efforts to be rescued eventually paid off, and she is now safe and loved at PAWS, where she is waiting to find her true forever home. (Almost) Wordless Neko

Happy almost Halloween from our sleek, affectionate, and adoptable friend Neko. Isn't she gorgeous?

 

For those of you who didn't know, Neko (pronounced neh koh) is the Japanese word for cat. And that's the purrfect name for this sweet housepanther, who happens to be the very personification of all things feline! 1 1/2 year-old Neko was brought to PAWS by a good Samaritan who found her wandering around outside. She enjoys people (don't let the fact that she can be a little shy at first fool you), so we're sure she was someone's kitty at one time. She also gets along with other nice cats! Neko is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to meet her new best friend. Could that be you?

 

Selfies by Bob the Builder

Look who raised his paw when we asked the PAWS cats who wanted to take this week's Sunday Selfie. It's our sweet-as-can-be friend Bob the Builder.

Bob was originally found on the streets and taken in by an elderly woman. Sadly, she was only able to feed him low quality dry food and did not brush him. As a result, his beautiful fur became quite matted. Since coming to shelter, though, this lovable dude had a visit from the groomer and is doing so much better. Bob is still feeling a bit shy, but we will attest to the fact that he is as gentle as a lamb. He adores being pet and getting attention from the PAWS volunteers and staff. He's neutered and current on his vaccinations, and is ready to find a quiet and loving forever family who will give him time to adjust, and provide him with a healthy diet and daily brush time. It's no exaggeration to say that to meet Bob the Builder is to love him. So come and meet (and love) him today!

This adorable dude is our new and adoptable friend Birkenstock. Isn't he handsome?

Two year-old Birkenstock is such an affectionate and gentle boy, and it breaks our hearts that he was found abandoned in a carrier. Somehow, despite being utterly disappointed by his former human, he has maintained his sweet nature. He loves being pet and really purrs up a storm! Our new friend Mina is more than just another beautiful face. She's also sweet, friendly, and wonderful through and through. And she takes an excellent selfie!

Mina is about 4 1/2 years old, and came to PAWS after her family moved to a place that did not allow animals. We're very sad she couldn't stay with them, but glad she is at here now where she is getting lots of love and attention until she finds her true happily ever after.
