Happy Halloween from our own sweet PAWS graduate Ava, and all of the adorable and adoptable kitties still waiting at PAWS to find their forever homes.
In addition to it being Halloween, it's also Sunday, which means we're hopping along in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by our pals at The Cat On My Head. Be sure to check it out to see who else is hopping along (or to join in on the fun)!
Check out our adorable and adoptable friend Otis. He's still pretty new at PAWS, but we can already tell you this young fellow is super friendly, playful, and sweet. And photogenic! 😺
Otis, who is about 10 months old, was found as a stray, taken care of by a good Samaritan, and brought to the shelter to be loved and cared for while he waits to be discovered. He's already a favorite among the PAWS volunteers and staff. Otis is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He's all dressed up and ready to find his new best friend. Is it you?
Oh, hello! Was that you knocking on my door? My name is Misha, and I'm waiting here at PAWS to be discovered by my new forever family. My human pals here tell me that because I'm so handsome, gentle, and friendly, whoever adopts me will be super lucky.
I'm neutered, current on my vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. I really enjoy getting pets, scritches, and attention from people, and I get along well with the other kitties in my open room. Oh, I almost forgot ... here's my selfie! 💕
I'm totally ready to love and be loved! I sure hope my new forever family finds me soon.

With Halloween just around the corner, we thought it would be a good time to introduce you all to our handsome and adoptable pal Casper. We may be a little biased, but we think he's a lot cuter (certainly more warm and fuzzy) than his ghostly namesake. One thing the two of them definitely have in common, though, is being friendly. 😸
Casper is about four years old, and came to PAWS when his owner was no longer able to provide care for him. He loves people and enjoys hanging out and getting attention from his human pals. He also gets along well with other nice cats, but could also be happy as your one and only. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet your new best friend, Casper, today!
Look who volunteered for this week's selfies ... adorable sisters Daenerys and Marsela! And we're definitely not exaggerating when we say these sweethearts are adorable. Just look at them!
Daenerys
Marsela
Daenerys and Marsela aren't beautiful inside and out. It's true! They are as sweet and friendly as can be. Both enjoy being pet, brushed, and cuddled by their human friends. They also get along with other nice cats, especially each other. As you can see from these photos, these six month-old sisters are quite bonded, and we would love to see them adopted together. They are spayed, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, negative for FIV and FeLV, and so ready to find their forever home. Come meet Daenerys and Marsela today, and fall in love!

There's just something about our adorable, beautiful, and adoptable friend Cho. Maybe it's her round face and big eyes full of love. Or maybe it's her sweet and gentle personality. Or maybe it's all of the above, and more!
There's certainly a lot to love about Cho, and she will make a wonderful best friend for whoever decides to adopt her. One year-old Cho adores people, and gets along well with other nice cats, too. She's spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She is so ready to find her happily ever after! Is it with you?
Sometimes, cats have names that fit them purr-fectly. That's certainly the case with our adorable friend Sugar. Check out her awesome selfie, and you'll see that she simply exudes sweetness and love!
Sugar loves attention and being pet by her human pals at the shelter, and gets along well with other nice kitties. She also happens to love catnip, as you can see from this series of photos. 💖
This sweetheart is about one year old. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Sugar is so ready to find her happily ever after! Could it be with you?

Check out our adorable and adoptable friend Twilight! He came to PAWS after being found as a stray, and since he's on the sensitive and gentle side, it's taken him a little while to feel secure here. As it turns out, though, this handsome lad (he's about one year old) is more than happy to show his sweet side to his friends. Be sure to check out the very brief video below of him loving attention from me last weekend.
In case you're wondering about Twilight's cloudy eye, it's from an ulcer that was untreated while he was stray. It doesn't require any treatment, and doesn't hurt him. It kind of gives him a little bit of swagger and flair, don't you think?
Twilight is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He gets along with other nice cats, and there's no doubt that he will be a great companion for whoever adopts him. He'll do best in a quieter home with humans who give him the time he needs to feel safe. Once he does, they'd better watch out, because the snuggles are sure to follow. 😸
We hope you're ready for a big dose of handsome, because our pal Briggs stepped up to take this week's selfies. Check out these shots, and you'll see just what we mean. So handsome, right?
Briggs is about three years old, and came to PAWS after being found as a stray. He's a little shy with new people, but don't let that fool you into thinking he's anything other than super sweet. Briggs loves being pet by his friends here at the shelter, and we know he'll blossom in a loving and quiet forever home. He just needs a chance! Briggs is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He gets along with other nice cats, but would also be fine as your one and only. Come meet Briggs today. You'll both be glad you did!
