Bark in the Park

In case you're wondering why we have a picture of a doggie on our cat blog...

Tomorrow (Saturday, September 17) is the fourth annual PAWS "Bark in the Park" festival fundraiser.  If you're in the Norwalk, CT area between 11AM and 3PM, stop by Cranbury Park to join in the fun.  There will be a dog walk on the park's scenic wooded trails, vendors, demonstrations, massages for pets and people, a caricaturist, a pet first aid demonstration, great raffle prizes, and food.  Several local animal rescue or advocacy agencies will be on hand, and this year, there will even be a CAT BOOTH with pins and toys and other great stuff for sale! :)

Be sure to look for our friend Dutchess the Dog, one of the pawsome woofies who are waiting at PAWS for their forever homes.  That's her in the picture, letting the dog volunteers know she's hungry. :)

Hello, Dutchess the dog! Now there's a puppy who knows how to get everybody's attention!l

Hope you all have a wonderful event. I wish we were closer, especially to check out your cat booth (every dog event should have a cat booth, I say)

Have a great day and a wonderful weekend, furriends!

Well, they *are** woofies, but I guess I want them to find good homes--just really far away from me, okay?
