Kea's Sunday Selfie

Our adoptable friend Kea used to be so skittish around people and other cats. But this gorgeous ladycat is starting to make great strides! As you can see from her relaxed posture in these photos, she's figured out that the humans at PAWS and the other nice kitties in her room are friends, not foes. And that means a very pretty selfie of a very pretty cat. Way to go, Kea! 💖

Kea will blossom in a quieter home with an adopter who will be patient as she gets acclimated. She's about 2 years old, spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She's ready to find the love of her life. How about you?

It's Sunday, which means we're hopping along in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by our pals at The Cat On My Head. Be sure to check it out to see who else is hopping along (or to join in on the fun)!

Our human melts when she sees beautiful calicos like you! They have thought you were skittish before but we calicos have our own way of dealing with things, and we know you was just showing your individual fortitude style!

I'm sure you can understand why the title of the blog post, and the cat's name, totally threw me for a moment! LOL.

Kitty Kea is a lovely young ladycat and certainly deserves her own, wonderful and true forever home. We hope she won't have a long wait.

BTW, I'd blossom in a quieter home too, with a patient adopter. :-D

It’s great to see Kea getting more brave and comfortable in Lobby 2. Now more people can appreciate her beauty. We all hope it leads to adoption soon!
