Cute alert! Cute alert! Take a look at our awesome and adoptable new friend Adobo, and you'll know we're not exaggerating. This little dude is as cute as can be.

 

This sweet and playful boy may be brand new at PAWS, but we can already tell you that he's a superstar! After being found as a single kitten in Bridgeport with no mother around, he was fostered as a bottle baby. He got along famously with everybody -- cats, dogs, and humans -- in his foster home. Now 5-month-old Adobo is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and oh-so-ready to find his happily ever after. Could it be with you?

(Almost) Wordless Harriet

Check out our sleek and stunning housepanther friend Harriet. Isn’t she gorgeous?

 

Harriet’s story began in the most heartbreaking way. She was found abandoned in an open cat condo on the sidewalk, along with her four newborn kittens. Though she was wearing a collar, her heartless former humans had clearly abandoned her. Thankfully, Harriet never gave up. She bravely protected her babies until the entire little family was rescued and safe.

 

Harriet proved to be an amazing mom, and now that her kittens have been weaned, it’s Harriet’s turn to finally just be young, playful, and carefree.

 

At only about a year and a half old, Harriet is ready to live the good life. She’s spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and full of personality. With her sleek black fur, confident yet gentle nature, and sweet, affectionate ways, she’s just about purrfect! Harriet enjoys people, loves attention, and gets along well with other nice cats. She’s curious, playful, and ready to be someone’s beloved companion. Come meet her at PAWS, and fall in love!

 

Selfies by Thumbelina

Our darling and ultra-adoptable friend Thumbelina isn’t just a pretty face -- though her gorgeous silver tabby coat, white tuxedo, and dainty white paws certainly make her a showstopper! 

At just about 1 1/3 years old, Thumbelina has already proven herself to be a remarkable mama. She came to the shelter as a pregnant young cat, and after giving birth to a beautiful litter of kittens, she did a wonderful job raising and weaning them. Now that her little ones are ready for adoption, it’s Thumbelina’s turn to be someone’s beloved baby.

 

This sweet girl is affectionate, friendly, and loves to snuggle. And she also has a playful side! Thumbelina adores people and also gets along well with other nice cats, making her the perfect addition to just about any loving home.

She's spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and ready to find her happily ever after. Thumbelina is waiting at PAWS for her forever family. Could it be yours?

(Almost) Wordless Zelda

What does a lapcat look like? If you guessed that she might look like our gorgeous new friend Zelda, you’d be 100% right. 😻 This sweet girl is a tabico -- an amazing combination of tabby and calico markings -- with some white fur mixed in for extra charm. She’s got a beautiful tabby mask, unique splashes of color, and the cutest polydactyl paws you’ll ever see!

Zelda came to PAWS after being found as a friendly stray, and we can tell you from firsthand experience: she is incredibly sweet. Her most favorite thing is curling up on the laps of her human pals, soaking up snuggles and gentle petting. She’s still new to the shelter, but so far she seems just fine around other kitties. 

At about one year old, Zelda has her whole happy future ahead of her. She’s already spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and just waiting for her forever family to come find her. Could it be yours?

Cute Kitten Selfies!

It’s still summer, which means it’s still kitten season. On the plus side, we do get to meet some extra-special, extra adorable short-term PAWS residents like Alfred, Selina, and Bruce — better known as The Bat Crew!

 

These three 12-week-old siblings came to PAWS via one of the local municipal animal controls with no mom in sight. Luckily, one of our incredible fosters swooped in to raise them, and now these babies are ready to show the world their super sweet, extremely playful, and wonderfully friendly selves.

Alfred, Selina, and Bruce are spayed/neutered, up to date on their age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to find their forever homes. (Almost) Wordless Steinway

Our handsome and adoptable friend Steinway is such a sweetheart. Can you tell from these photos that he’s the bestest dude ever? We hope so, because he really and truly is.

 

 

Steinway is about 3 years old and already knows how to win hearts everywhere he goes. This curious boy loves chasing his favorite butterfly toy, watching Bird TV, and snuggling with his human pals. He’s even been known to play fetch when he's in the mood!

 

 

Steinway is a go-with-the-flow kitty -- happy to lounge near you while you work during the day, ready to show off his playful, silly side, and down to chill when it’s time to relax together after hours.

 

 

This affectionate mancat gets along well with other nice cats, is neutered, and is in great health. Steinway came to PAWS with some medical needs, his latest bloodwork is excellent -- he’s healthy, thriving, and ready for his happily ever after. All that’s missing now is his forever person. Could that be you? 🐾

 

Like our beloved Target, Steinway has tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life. According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species.

Selfies by Miss Kish

Check out our beautiful pal Kish! This lovely lady housepanther is as sweet and gentle as they come. She adores people, loves scritches under the chin, and when the mood strikes, she’s an unabashed lap cat with a nice, loud purr that will melt your heart.

 

Kish is about 2 ½ years old. She was first discovered as a friendly stray and brought into a home with another cat -- but Kish made it clear she’d much prefer the spotlight all to herself. She’s currently sharing space with some older kittens and doing pretty well, but we can tell she’d really shine as the one and only kitty in her forever home.

 

Kish is spayed, current on vaccinations, and ready to meet the lucky human who gets to be her BFF. With a sweet, gentle cat like Kish, who needs anyone else? Come meet her at PAWS today, and fall in love!
