(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Hanging with Lucy

Here's our beautiful and adoptable housepanther pal, Lucy, hanging out on (and off of) the well-loved Room One cat tree.

Lucy's been living at PAWS for one year, while she waits to find her forever home. She's a cautious ladycat, but is fine with staff and volunteers she knows well. We know she'll blossom in a quiet and patient home. Lucy is about 9 years old, spayed, micro-chipped, and current on her vaccinations. She has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Now all she needs is a hero to rescue her. Is it you?

Look at the lush, BEAUTIFUL coat! And her eyes. It breaks my heart she had to spend a year of her life in a shelter.

Lucy is so beautiful! Black cats have a particular kind of beauty - it is elegant, mysterious, and always in style. :) Shy kitties can be wonderful companions. I hope she finds a great forever home this Christmas!

Here's a coincidence: My Lucy also prefers the one-arm-outstretched approach. It must go with the name! We'll be purring for your Lucy. She looks like a beauty.

Hi there. If there are interested pet parents out there, how can they reach you to adopt the cats? I would like to share the pics of the cats for adoption on social media.

Hi Lexi. Thanks for asking! All the adoptable cats on our blog are at Pet Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in Norwalk, CT. The PAWS website (www.pawsct.org) contains all the contact info. :)
