(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Dina

Pretty Dina was found as a stray, and brought to PAWS. This sweet, petite kitty is still a little timid, but she's starting to adjust to being in uber-catified Cat Room 5.

Dina is a smart girl, who's learning that the PAWS volunteers and staff are sources of love and kindness (and food ... and catnip). With such encouragement, she's showing her courage a little bit more each day, and just needs time and patience to allow her to blossom into the loving, trusting kitty we know she is. She gets along well with other nice cats, and would do best in a quieter home without small children. Dina will be a wonderful best friend, if you give her the chance.

Dina is about 2 years old, spayed, micro-chipped, and current on her vaccinations. She has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet her today!

Dina, you are so beautiful, and obviously such a sweet little lady cat! There is certainly nothing wrong with being a little shy. Purrs to you and all the kitties!

(I also just want to say that I can never get over how beautiful of a shelter PAWS is. Even just in pictures it is clearly such a warm and inviting place to be, and that is so wonderful!)

Such a pretty girl! We're crossing our paws that a patient and loving human falls for her and gives her a wonderful forever home.

Dilute torties are so gorgeous and do not seem to have as much of that crazy tortitude as the traditional dark torties. Dina is super gorgeous, and we will be praying that she is soon well socialized and finds the wonderful home she deserves! We had a kitty with similar marking some years ago. Her name was Lady Gray, and she was a sweetheart.
Hope THIS Lady Gray soon finds a home!

Dina is a lovely young dilute tortie. I hope her tortitude will soften as she gets used to the shelter.

Is that a docked ear I see? Was she part of a feral colony? If so, I can imagine that living in a shelter would be strange for her. She's handling things beautifully, it seems, with the help of you wonderful volunteers.
