Check out our handsome and gentle friend Marcus. 💖
He was so shy when he first arrived at PAWS, and would very rarely emerge from the cubby in his cage. But with love and attention from the kind volunteers and staff, Marcus has begun to realize that he is in a safe and caring place. He really enjoys getting pets from and being talked with by favorite peeps!
This sweet housepanther now lives in an open/cageless room with other nice cats, and a window from which he can watch (and chatter at) the birds that are outside.

Marcus is beautiful! And in his close-up portrait we can see a bit of the shyness and the memories of his outdoor life. Glad he is coming out of his shell and making friends with other cats and humans.
