This week's volunteer for the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop (hosted by our awesome pals at The Cat on My Head) is our beautiful, gentle, and adoptable friend Ruffles. 💖
This lovely ladycat was abandoned by her previous humans at a water treatment facility. It's something we can't even begin to imagine doing. But as it turns out, it's actually when things started looking up for Ruffles. The kind people at the facility took care of her, and provided her with a makeshift shelter, but knew they needed to get her indoors before winter. And that's how she came to PAWS, where she is being loved and cared for while she waits to find her true forever loving home. Ruffles is about two years old, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She is so ready to find her new best friend. Is it you?
Ruffles looks like really sweet kitty. Her story is so sad, and the kitties and I are sending deep rumbling purrs for her to find a good home soon.
ReplyDeleteRuffles is a pretty cat. She looks like a Maine Coon. Purrs and hugs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful ladycat and how appropriate her name is. She looks as though she is wearing ruffles. As young as she is, she could do the rumba in her ruffly "dress".
ReplyDeleteI hope Ruffles finds the purrfect home she so deserves.
ReplyDeleteAw, Ruffles is adorable. I hope she finds the very best forever home.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. ♥
Purring for Ruffles; love her white socks.
ReplyDeleteRuffles, you have the cutest name and are totally gorgeous. We cannot believe you were abandoned, but we can never and will never understand people who do this. So happy you made it to PAWS and volunteered for a selfie. Praying you soon have your purrfect, loving forever home. ReplyDeleteHow could ANYONE abandon their kitty - especially one as sweet as Ruffles?
ReplyDeletePaws crossed for a wonderful, loving, FOREVER Home for you in time for Chrissymouse, Ruffles!
I just can't fathom abandoning her like that. I have plenty of bad words for those people, but in the end, the end, I do believe life (eventually) will treat them as they have treated her.
ReplyDeleteIn any case, both Derry and I are relieved this gorgeous ladycat (those front paws!) is safe and we send up purrayers that she finds a true forever home soon. ♥
Ruffles is so very beautiful! She looks like a very lovable kitty, too! It's hard to understand why people abandon their pets in the strangest places. Perhaps they knew someone would find her there.
ReplyDeleteRuffles reminds me very much of my grandcat, Sox, who likely has some Norwegian forest cat in him. Lovely disposition, too.
I hope Ruffles finds her forever home very soon. She deserves only the best.
Ruffles is one gorgeous cat! We are glad that the Peeps at the Water Treatment place took care of her and brought her to you guys and we are purraying that Ruffles gets the best forever home EVER! Keep on being awesome! Marv
ReplyDeleteRuffles is so sweet, and her name suits her perfectly. I cannot understand how some people can just abandon their pet like that. Would they abandon a child when they tire of it!!
