(Almost) Wordless Mistletoe

What would Christmas be without a little Mistletoe? Now, before you think we're talking about that smooch-inspiring plant (which is nice and all, but...), we're actually talking about our beautiful, sweet, and adoptable friend whose name just happens to be ... Mistletoe.

We were aghast to learn that Mistletoe's former humans dropped her off for a vet appointment and just never came back. (Those people should definitely get lumps of coal in their stockings!) It's all for the best, we suppose, and we hope this happy-go-lucky 3 year-old gets her most fervent wish -- a true loving forever home -- really soon. She has been a very good kitty this year (well, every year, because she's just a good kitty)! She adores people and gets along well with other nice cats. Mistletoe is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. So, what do you say? Don't you want to add a little Mistletoe to your family in time for the holidays?

  4. Sweetheart, at least they chose a safe place. Not other things they could have done. Thank God for that. But meanwhile, I am hoping your new mommy will be along today!!!

  8. Mistletoe is beautiful! And she has such a sweet expression.
I can't imagine abandoning a cat like that - they are family. I feel really bad for her, but I suppose it's good that she was left in a safe place with the vet and found her way to PAWS. I do hope she finds a home that is truly forever.

Hope you are all doing well and having a good holiday season!

  9. Mistletoe is a pretty name for a lovely lady. A curse on her ex owners for abandoning her like that. I hope she very soon gets the perfect forever home.

  10. Sweet Mistletoe sure deserves better than that and if I know where those idiots lived it would almost be worth a trip up North to discuss it with them. Good luck sweet girl, we're purring for you. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  14. We just don't understand those people. Mom can't stand our cat, never has liked him, but he is our cat who she adopted and you can't take a pet back. We are stuck with him to the end.

  18. Mistletoe is a beauty! We fostered a cat that looked like her. Our good friend adopted her, so I still get to see her.

Thank you for the kind words about Harley.
