Mia's Sunday Selfie

This is our gentle and beautiful pal, Mia. Don't you just love her stylish whiskers, round eyes and white chin?

Sadly, Mia ended up at PAWS when her human passed away. We can only imagine how confusing it is for her to go from a safe and loving home to an unfamiliar place with other cats and strange sights, sounds and smells.

Mia is understandably a little shy with strangers right now, but she's really starting to come out of her shell, and is becoming fast friends with the shelter volunteers and staff (she loves being pet!). She will undoubtedly flourish in a loving forever home.

Mia is about 8 years old, spayed, micro-chipped and current on her vaccinations. She has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Mia would be fine in a quieter home with adults only, and would also be okay in one that includes older children. Won't you please consider giving this sweetheart her new happily ever after?

We're taking part in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by our buddies at the Cat on My Head. Be sure to visit, to see who else is hopping along, and to join in on the fun!

  12. Such a beauty. I feel so bad for kitties who end up at shelters when owners pass, I always wonder why no family steps in.

  19. It really is sad to see kitties go back to the shelter after their humans pass. We should all have a directive when the time comes.

  23. What beautiful markings! She's a one-of-a-kind tuxie. I wonder how much she knows/understands ... I pray she understands her human didn't abandon her and that she's very lovable and special. In cases like this, I always wonder if they understand on some level. Thank you for linking up to the Showcase too!
