(Almost) Wordless Birkenstock

This adorable dude is our new and adoptable friend Birkenstock. Isn't he handsome?


Two year-old Birkenstock is such an affectionate and gentle boy, and it breaks our hearts that he was found abandoned in a carrier. Somehow, despite being utterly disappointed by his former human, he has maintained his sweet nature. He loves being pet and really purrs up a storm! Birkenstock is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and waiting at PAWS to find his true forever loving home. Could it be with you?

      He is purrfectly lovely. I enjoy all the posts and comments. The pics and ur trip. I wish my kitties would get on my neck . We have a Tuxedo, Violet, a Calico kitten, Callie. A black kitten, Binx. A yellow n white Ollie, and an outdoor Torte, Momma.

    Hard to believe that humans can do this to their own pets—abandoning them inside a carrier.

    Birkenstock is quite handsome. His markings remind me a bit of our friend Gracie that we posted the other day (and many times before!).
    It pains me that someone would do something like that, abandoning him trapped in a carrier :(. I'm glad he is safe at PAWS and recognizes that there are good people who love and care for him, too.
