(Almost) Wordless Roman

Meet our gentle, handsome, and adoptable friend Roman!

This sweet dude was found by a building's landlord who was alerted to an incessantly crying cat. It seems Roman's rotten former humans just left him for two weeks with no food. According to his intake card, he "was in pretty rough shape, but has received excellent care." He's now safely at PAWS. Roman is still a little shy but is making great progress as he learns to trust humans again. We know he will absolutely flourish in a loving and kind forever home. Roman is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready for his true happily ever after. Could it be with you?

Roman is so gorgeous! How could his so-called owners just walk out on him like that? WE had that happen here with "Screemin Tabby". His former owner is out end of the month!
We wish Roman all the best!!!

  4. Why bother having any animal companion if you're just going to do that? And another rhetorical question: Why are so many humans so beeping stupid?

Anyway, I hope Roman soon finds the amazing, loving forever home that he so deserves. ❤️

  6. People who do that...I hope one day their conscience makes them always remember their cruelty.

  10. Roman is very handsome and even has a bit of a regal / Egyptian bearing!

How horrible that he was left stuck with no food! That's even worse than being left on the streets. I'm glad he's safe at PAWS, and from his photos he seems to be doing very well.

Hope you are all doing well, too :)

  11. Roman could be our Kizmet’s twin. Like her, he’s great at posing. We are so happy this lovely boy was found and brought to PAWS. I wish these people who abandon their cats would be prosecuted. 15. We get stories like that, too. Some of the cases have been even worse, and sometimes it's owners who become to old to handle the animals, or have no resources. Last week it was an older lady with no A/C in her house who'd taken in a stray which had babies, then more babies, she had no money to get them fixed. All 25 cats are getting vetted and she'll be allowed to keep one spayed cat, which is all she can handle.

  18. Ah Roman, no kitty should have to endure what you went through, ever ... thankfully, you are now in a good and caring place and hopefully will soon find the best forever home, and also learn there are those you can trust, those who will treat you with kindness, care and love always. We wish you well.
