This beautiful little tuxedo cat is our adoptable pal Willa. For what it's worth, the English literature major in yours truly thinks it would have been funny if her full name was Willa CATher. All punning aside, though, she is truly one of the friendliest cats we've met. So much so that we were lucky to get these photos because she kept running straight at me to get some love and attention!
As mentioned, one year-old Willa is a super outgoing and affectionate kitty. When she isn't playing, she's utterly content to curl up on your lap. Yes, you read that correctly ... Willa is a bonafide lap cat! She's spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. What are you waiting for? Come meet your new best friend Willa today, and fall in love!
I agree, Willa CATher would be purrfect. What adorable white pawsies she has. We're all purrs here for Willa to find a home soon!
ReplyDeleteWilla looks a real sweetie and will hopefully soon have her forever home.
ReplyDeleteWilla, I would scoop you up in less than a second. Ask Kevin there to let us know if you did go to a loving family.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, does PAWS have a way to vet the families so as to try to tell if they will be good pawrents to the kitties? Just curious.
Hi, @Katie Isabella! We'll definitely let you know when Willa finds her happily ever after! And in response to your excellent question, yes, the adoption process at PAWS is quite detailed and designed to match the cats and dogs up with their very best forever families. XO
ReplyDeleteIn case you are interested, here's an explanation of the process from the PAWS site: https://www.pawsct.org/adoption-process

ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely lady ...
PS, pun away, t'was purrfect.
Off-topic, but Mom laughed even harder at the parrot in that cartoon in my blog yesterday...just as muscular as the rest of the family.
ReplyDeleteWhen my family - momma Annie, daddy Nikolas, my panther brofurs Keepurr and Kopea, and me and my twin Patsy all arrived in late December looking for food and shelter, my future mom put us on PetFinders dressed in cute hats with a snappy bio describing our purrsonalities. We all got homes, but me and Daddy got the best one because we were adopted by our rescuer. No doubt Willa will be enjoying her Forever Home very soon. Love, Dori
ReplyDeleteI agree, Willa is a sweetheart!

Willa Willa Bo Billa- my, what a cutie Willa is. She's sure to be snapped up soon. This (and your facility) reminded dad to tell you how he and mom finally got around to visiting Tabby's Place across the river in NJ. My word, mom said dad did not want to leave after playing with all the free-roaming kitties, and especially the ones with disabilities. Mom and dad had such a hard time leaving there, and dad's got a pretty good idea of where he'd like to volunteer if he ever retires.
ReplyDeleteWilla is such an adorable Tuxie! We love tuxies and many years ago had a handsome mancat named Butchie. We hope someone adopts her soon because those tuxies make the best best fur friends. And thanks for stopping by to say Happy Birthday! xo
ReplyDeleteSweet Willa! I have been to Willa Cather’s childhood home near Winchester, Virginia.
