(Almost) Wordless Tangerine

If you're looking for a nice mid-week dose of cute, you've definitely come to the right place. Check out our awesome and adoptable pal Tangerine!

This sweet girl was abandoned right in the parking lot at PAWS. Her former humans literally drove up while the shelter was open, dumped Tangerine, and drove away. To say this is a despicable thing to do is putting it nicely, but we will just leave it at that. Luckily, some staff and volunteers saw Tangerine before anything untoward happened, and brought her inside. We can tell you she is playful and affectionate, and loves humans and other nice kitties. She also happens to have a championship-caliber purr! Tangerine, who is about 6 months old, is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She's so ready to find her real forever family, so come meet her today!

  5. She is a glowing feline beauty! I will say this: Her people did at least find the best possible place for her. But thank heaven someone saw it! She has the perfect name. I would keep it if I could have her.

  8. I hate to hear these stories of cats being dumped. At least whomever did it had enough compassion to leave her at PAWS. That does not give them a pass, however, on abandoning her. She has a similar color to our Raleigh, and she is lovely. Good luck to her on finding a true forever home. 10. I don't have enough vicious words for people who would do something like that. She is gorgeous and I LOVE her name! The only blessing is they didn't take her to a dumpster....why in the world couldn't they bring her in??? It's just awful. I pray Tangerine finds the wonderful home that she deserves.

  11. Tangerine so soo cute! That little sweet face and her beautiful fur.

How could someone just abandon her like that, not even have the decency to bring her inside. Makes me sad and angry at the same time, but I'm glad she is safe and loved now.

    Take care, friends.

  20. I probably shouldn't share my thoughts about the people who did that to poor little Tangerine on the internet. I'm glad she's safe and loved at PAWS now and hope she finds her forever home soon.
