(Almost) Wordless William

Our buddy William hasn't been at PAWS for very long. But we're not exaggerating when we tell you he's already a favorite among the volunteers and staff. For starters, he's got the sweetest, most friendly disposition. He also happens to be super adorable. Here, see for yourself!

This polydactyl mancat, who is just 8 months old, came to the shelter when his former humans left him behind. Since this is a family-friendly blog, we'll just say his former humans don't deserve William (or any other pet, for that matter), and he deserves love from a real forever family. In the meantime, he's getting lots of attention from the humans at PAWS. William gets long with other nice cats and is fine with children, too. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. All he needs now is a happily ever after. Could it be with you?

  12. William is very handsome! And I love that photo of him holding the toy between his PAWS.

I know I say this a lot, but I have a really hard time understanding or accepting how people just abandon their animal family members like that. It makes me very sad and angry. But I'm glad that PAWS is there to help them find more deserving homes.

Hope you are all doing well!

  13. It annoys the cr*p out mom bean that other beans consider kitties to be disposable.

I is annoyed too, for William, 'cuz he is such a handsome boy and deserves the purrfect home.

  14. I won't write my thoughts on his former humans, but let's hope that what they sow, they reap.

As for handsome and sweet William, I hope he finds his TRUE forever home very soon. ❤️

  15. Poor William! How could the people he thought loved him just abandon him. I hope he soon gets his true forever home.

  18. Okay, to me he looks very scholar-like, handsome, and yet still a baby! It's like telepathically he tells you, "LOVE ME, PET ME, FEED ME SEYMOR, FEED ME", but don't they all! hahaha No, really he's adorable. I'm sorry, but I'm partial to dogs. I have had 5 maybe 6 black labs in my lifetime (I'm 73), and right now I have the most protective, lovable, and FEED ME SEYMOR... DOG I've ever had. He's got a bottomless pit, but he's oh so loving, and he sleeps in our room on his own pillow under his head. Love him to pieces. I guess we all find what's closest to our hearts. Have a nice day my friend!

  19. With any luck, life will leave his family behind. How can people just leave a pet and move away. They have no compassion.

  20. Well, I sure wouldn't mind sharing home space with William!

  24. William has found himself a furever home with lots of love from the entire family. He is adapting nicely, loves to snuggle and play. His polydactyl paws enable him to “play soccer” like a pro. Our hearts πŸ’• are overflowing with joy.
