This handsome fellow is our adoptable pal Cameron. He's friendly, gets along with other nice cats, and is just an overall wonderful kitty.
Now, you may be wondering, "Why is an adorable cat like Cameron still waiting to find his happily ever after?" Sadly, he came to PAWS from a large hoarding situation, and tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV). While It cannot be passed to other pet species or to people, it is contagious to other cats, and often means a shorter life span. So Cameron should be adopted into either a home with another friendly FeLV positive cat (he gets along very well with others!) or as an only kitty. We know there is a loving forever home out there for Cameron. And we are happy he is safe and loved at PAWS until he finds it.
Aww! poor Cameron I hope he gets a nice loving home that will take good care of him and his needs :-)

ReplyDeleteCameron looks like a purrfect cat! We have to say, Mom's mom had a before that had FeLV. Tiki lived until he was almost 17 years, his bond mate, Kittie NEVER got FeLV. (She lived to the ripe old age of 23). We know Cameron will be the purrfect pet. We are purraying that he gets a wonderful forever home soon.

ReplyDeleteThe FeLV really shouldnt put folks off. He is great looking, fun, and just right for a one cat/multi FeLV cat household. Hopefully folks will see past those letters and see love starts with a capital C, for Cameron.
