Handsome Jax's Selfies

Check out our new friend Jax. Does this handsome dude know how to rock a selfie, or what? Just look at those poses. And that face! 💖

Jax is about 9 years old. He ended up at PAWS when his owners adopted a dog that frightened Jax. That is was Jax who ended up at the shelter seems utterly unfair to us, since he was there before the dog.😾Anyway ... he certainly deserves better, and we are glad he is here while he waits for his true forever loving home. Jax is still a little shy with people he doesn't know, but he is a definitely a nice boy. He's neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Jax so wants and deserves a happily ever after. Could it be with you?

It's Sunday, which means we're hopping along in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by our pals at The Cat On My Head. Be sure to check it out to see who else is hopping along (or to join in on the fun)!

  1. I agree - Jax was there first, and should have gotten priority over the new pet. I hope he finds a home soon with people who appreciate him.

  2. Sorry the so-called 'owners' area bunch of unspeakable crap. Damned dog should have gone.

Not supposed to say that but I am on Jax's side in this. I dearly hope you find a loving, caring and genuinely lovely home.

  4. I agree, the dog should have gone. Poor Jax lost his home because of it. But if it hadn't happened then it probably wouldn't be long before they found another excuse. I hope he soon finds his true forever home.

  5. Oh noes!!! That is just too sad :(
Dogs can be trained to be calm. Guess the people were lazy to try.

  10. I was thinking the same thing. It would be less traumatic to remove the dog who did not have time to get used to living in that house. I hope Jax finds a home with more caring parents.

  14. I will never understand how anyone could be that way to a pet they had for presumably years. I'm grateful they didn't;t just turn him out but I am unhappy with the uncaring treatment Jax got. He didn't deserve that.

  15. Wow that is so unfair. They should have tried to work with the animals, trained the dog, or something. The kitties and I hope that handsome Jax gets a home soon where he will be appreciated.
