(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Ramsey

Check out our new buddy, Ramsey, bringing everybuddy a big 'ol dose of midweek happiness. Seriously, can you really look at this cutie and not smile?

The way that Ramsey ended up at PAWS is very sad. He was abandoned in the driveway of the shelter. We are happy that he decided to hide inside the open carrier left by whoever dumped him, rather than running off into the road or somewhere else. As you can imagine, Ramsey was pretty freaked out at first (and who could blame him?). Fortunately, he's figuring out quickly that the humans here are sources of good things like food, love, and catnip. As a result, he's gaining in confidence, and his curious nature and sweet personality are starting to emerge. 😸

One year-old Ramsey is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. We are confident that he'll blossom in a loving forever home. All he needs is a chance! Could it be with you?

  15. It really makes me so sad (and a bit) that Ramsey was abandoned that way 😿. He seems like such a sweet and loving cat - and quite handsome to boot. We're sure he will find the home he truly deserves soon.

He looks quite a bit like our Sam Sam, but his story is more like Big Merp (who was abandoned on the streets but loves people and found himself a great home).

  16. Ramsey, despite being abandoned, you definitely ended up at the right place to get all the TLC you deserve while waiting for your forever home. With your good looks, we predict it will be a short stay. Nevertheless, we are sending lots of POTP for a quick adoption.XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  22. Ramsey is so cute. I cannot imagine anyone dumping an animal off at the shelter like that but I know it happens all the time.

  23. Why are people so cruel? Although he doesn't look like him, Ramsey's expression reminds me a bit of my Woodrow.

  24. What a gorgeous young mancat Ramsey is. If I didn't have about 15 years on him I'd ask mom and dad to go get him. His sad, disgusting story reminds dad of Orbit, my predecessor and this blog's founder who made it to 22 years old. Dad found newborn Orbit and his siblings dumped in a parking lot on a hot morning, and with a few exceptions over the years Orbit was dad's companion for that whole time. We'd love to have Ramsey, but we're hoping he finds his furrever home real soon.
