(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Tabitha

Straight-up adorable. That kind of sums up our beautiful and adoptable buddy Tabitha. This gentle, lap-loving kitty ended up at PAWS after being abandoned by her previous humans. But before you go and feel sorry for her, you should know that Tabitha hasn't missed a beat. From day one, she's made it clear to all of us that she's a friend to pretty much everyone lucky enough to meet her.  Oh, and did we mention she loves a nice warm lap (as evidenced in the first and third photos)? 😸

Tabitha is about 5 years old. She is spayed, micro-chipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Potential adopters should be aware that Tabitha was front paw declawed at some point in her life, so she absolutely, positively must be an indoor-only cat. (For the record, we (and PAWS) are strongly against the barbaric procedure of declawing.)

Tabitha is just about purrfect. Now all she needs is a happy forever home. Is it with you? 💟

  15. You are a beauty, Tabitha! I am sad and also angry that there are still people who declaw their cats, and worse still that there are vets who do it.

  18. OMC! Who wouldn't fall in love with Tabitha? Waaaaayy back in the day when TW thought possessions were everything, she was looking for a cat who was already declawed so the cat wouldn't scratch up the spines of her record jackets but she wouldn't be the one doing the declawing. She saw the light.

  22. Now that is one beautiful kitty.
We, too, are against declawing - which, thankfully, is ILLEGAL here in Israel and could get any Human that does it a prison term.

  24. I can't help but get angry - at her being partially declawed - at her being abandoned. Us humans are bad at sticking things out when it's not convenient. She deserves to be a princess and know nothing but love and warm laps for the rest of her life!

  25. She looks so content on Tracey's lap - I know PAWS will make sure her next home is forever and perfect for her.
