Meet our gentle and cuddly buddy, Clyde. Is he handsome, or what? :)
16 year-old Clyde was adopted from PAWS many years ago, and recently returned after his elderly owner had to enter a nursing home. These situations break our hearts, but we're glad cats like Clyde are always welcomed back at PAWS, where they will be well-loved and cared for until they find their new forever homes.
As you can see, Clyde has big, beautiful eyes and a nice, plush coat. He's also pretty skilled at taking selfies AND doing the easy; and loves being pet, snuggling, and (helping his volunteer pals) reading the newspaper. :)
Clyde is neutered, micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He's a mellow dude who gets along well with other cats, but he'd also be fine with being your one-and-only BFF, if that's how you roll. Oh, and Clyde also qualifies for the PAWS Pension Plan,
which features no fee adoptions for cats 12 years and older, with the
following included at no cost for the life of the cat: a yearly exam and
senior blood workup analysis, and vaccinations as recommended by the
PAWS vet. :)
We're participating in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by our beloved pals at The Cat On My Head. Please stop by their great blog to check out who's hopping along this week (and/or to join in on the fun)!
Hi Clyde, You get 10/10 in our eyes, and take a wonderful selfie! Heres to a quick adoption and many newspapers to read in your new home! purrs ERin
ReplyDeleteClyde, we would never have guessed that you are 16 years old. You look like a young, vibrant guy. We are sorry you have found yourself back at PAWS, but if your human had to move, we are happy you are in a safe place where you will get lots of love and attention. We sure hope you are able to find another home. Thanks for hopping. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

That is very sad when that happens. I hope he finds another loving home.
ReplyDeleteThank Cod the shelter was able to take Clyde back. Cases where the humans have to leave pets behind because of going into a nursing home just break our hearts too. It's so hard on both the animal and the human. We hope Clyde finds a new forever home soon. Poor baby.
ReplyDeleteWhat a big and beautiful boy! It looks like he has many years of love left to give. I'm so glad he has your care and safe spaces until his new people find him.

Clyde is such a handsome boy and he's got really shiny coat! He looks much younger than his actual age. It's very sad his human is no longer able to take care of him.. I hope he finds his new forever home very soon. xo

What a sweet handsome boy--we are glad Paws is able to take care of him again--we do not like to think of what might happen to kitties in those situations. We will purr for him and hope there's a new furever home for him.
ReplyDeleteClyde you are so adorable and handsome in your shiny floophy coat! Won't be long before a Pet Parent scoops you up & takes you home with them! ❤️ Thank you PAWS for having a wonderful "committed for Life policy" and accepting back cats that you adopt out.
ReplyDeleteThat was supposed to be a Smiley Face at the end of my comment.
ReplyDeleteClyde, you are one handsome Mancat! We are happy that you are back in the loving care of PAWS who, we are certain, will help find you another forever home.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Clyde ended up back with PAWS. What a handsome mancat!
ReplyDeleteHandsome fellow Hope some one snack him up soon,xx Speedy
ReplyDeleteHe still is a beauty ! It's so sad that retirement homes don't accept pets ! An old cat doesn't make any noise and is so used to the old owner ! Here now in Brussels in some homes cats are allowed when they are kept in the room. I hope there will be more and more homes !
ReplyDeleteOh darling. I pray you are as fortunate as me. They vet thinks that is what happened to me. My owner previously was obviously a loving one because *I* sure was when Admiral picked me for Mom. And I still am.
ReplyDeleteWas catching up on all of the beautiful cats this a.m. and landed on beautiful Clyde. How heart-wrenching that he found a home, only to be separated when his person had to enter into a nursing home - but am praying that someone wonderful comes along to give him the love and care he deserves!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed week! :-)
