Around here, we always try to get in at least a little bit of rest and
relaxation on Sundays. Here's our own sweet Gracie showing off her easy
skills, amidst some of the wonderful toys made by our sweet pals at 15 and Meowing, before we took them to PAWS for the kitties there. :)
Sundays are also a great day for taking selfies, and for participating in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by our awesome friends, the Kitties Blue, at The Cat on My Head. Today, our guest selfie is taken by a handsome mancat named Kipling.
This super friendly guy was living on the streets of Norwalk, Connecticut. He was hanging out near a VERY busy road, and getting food from kindhearted construction workers who would share bits of their lunches with him. But with autumn already upon us, and winter on its coattails, Kipling needs a safe, warm and loving forever home.
Kipling is neutered and current on his vaccinations. He has tested
positive for FIV+, but please don't let that stop you from adopting this special dude. After all, "...FIV-positive cats can live normal lives both in quality
and duration," even though "...they do take special care in terms of
monitoring them for signs of
infection..." (source: www.bestfriends.org) Kipling is currently in a loving foster home, where he is being totally spoiled. Read more about Kipling HERE. To meet Kipling, contact Ilona at ilona@pawsct.org.
Kipling you are so handsome with your eye and nose liner. It does sound as if your life has improved bunches already. We definitely will be purring and praying that you soon have a forever home. Thanks for hopping with us today. Mom is sending hugs and love to the whole Hattori gang. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

ReplyDeleteAwww on both of them. I'm partial to black cats.
ReplyDeleteI hope Kipling finds a forever home very soon.
Have a terrific day. ☺
Thanks so much for highlighting an FIV cat. I know they can be super-scary to adopt, particularly for people who already have cats, but the more we learn about the virus, the more it seems that these cats can integrate into multi-cat homes, as long as the transition moves slowly. The more times I hear people repeat that message, the more confident I feel about the future of cats like Kipling!
ReplyDeleteAwww, Gracie looks pretty and sweet with all her soft toys :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad that Kipling was rescued from the streets, and hope he finds a forever home soon.
