Of all the incredible rewards that come from volunteering at a shelter, one of the greatest is the privilege of loving the animals as they wait for their forever homes. And it is such an honor when they love us back. Such connections are real, so it's always a little bittersweet when any of "our" PAWS cats get adopted. We always miss the ones who "graduate," but any sadness is eclipsed by the joy of knowing that they have found their very own happily ever afters. And with that, we bring you another exciting edition of FURever Home Friday! Guess who's been adopted from PAWS?
Beautiful senior gal Calliope!
(Brother and sister) Yankee and Doodle, together with their roommate and pal, Geraldo!
Handsome senior mancat Sydney!
Adorable Orange Annie...
...together with her stunning brother, Jack O'Lantern AND their awesome adult kitty pal, Bradley
Spunky and fun Noname (pronounced No-NAH-may)!
Here's the whole list of graduates (January) since our last adoption update:

A lot of cats have graduated from PAWS recently. So happy to hear that they have homes of their own. :)
ReplyDeleteI love hearing about adoptions! I bet if any tears are shed over them going off to their new homes, the happy tears by far outweigh the sad ones.
ReplyDeleteHigh paws for all the graduates. Aunt Karen fosters and she says the same thing. She’s sad but happy when one of her fosters leaves her. It opens up a spot for her to foster another cat.
