Our pal Sherwood would LOVE to meet you. We're pretty sure about this, because this handsome and sweet mancat loves EVERYONE he meets.
Sadly, Sherwood finds himself back at the shelter after being adopted a couple of years ago, because "...someone with allergies moved into his house." We don't think that's fair, but the volunteers and staff at PAWS will be sure to give Sherwood lots of love and attention while he waits for his REAL forever home.
Gentle Sherwood also enjoys being pet, helping his volunteer pals read the newspaper, and playing. And he has the cutest high-pitched meow ever.
He's about 2 1/2 years old, micro-chipped, neutered and up-to-date on
all of his vaccinations. He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Come
meet Sherwood today. You'll be glad you did (and so will he)! :)
Poor Sherwood - I think that's a flimsy excuse for returning him! I hope his real home comes along soon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lousy hand that beautiful boy has been dealt! Hang in there, Sherwood...your forever home is out there!
ReplyDeleteSherwood, what a handsome man you are. We hate so much that you were returned. Our dad has bad allergies, and he lives with eight of us. These things can be controlled. You have the most precious face so we think you will have a new home very soon. Sending all our purrs and prayers. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo <3 <3 <3

What a love! I have read a lot about cat allergy medications this week. Sorry that the breakthrough wasn't soon enough to keep Sherwood out of the shelter again but hopefully the days of that excuse are over. And Sherwood deserves forever love, I can tell!

Just look at those big eyes! He definitely luffs the world. PS : Our Mom has allergies to us too. She says pFFFFTTT to that! We are all here to stay.
ReplyDeletePoor Sherwood!! It really upsets me when people give the allergy excuse when returning cats. I know that some people's allergies are life-threatening, and I understand in those cases why people can't live with kitties, but if your allergies are like most, there's some sniffling, runny nose, and watery, itchy eyes, and many many medications available to help them.
ReplyDeleteI hope this sweet baby finds his real forever home very soon. He sure is cute!
oh heavens - what a face!! if those people can't take a pill, then Sherwood deserves better
ReplyDeleteLove those eyes!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like such a nice kitty, just wants to share his love, I do hope he gets a nice home soon!!! Hope you can stop by and share http://ohmyheartsiegirl.com/wordless-wednesday-25/karren

Handsome Sherwood, we'll purr hard that a real forever family finds you extra soon! PURRS....
ReplyDeleteOh, Sherwood! What a handsome guy. That expression is adorable, too. Here's hoping you get all the love you deserve. ~xo~
ReplyDeleteThat is totally no excuse? Would they get rid of a baby if someone who didn’t like babies moved in? I think they gave him up cos they only like kittens. Pfffttttt on them. I hope Sherwood finds a REAL home.
ReplyDeleteThat is so unfair! I say put the human out of the home! MOL!
ReplyDeleteWe are sorry to hear that Sherwood's home did not work out, he is a gorgeous boy and we know he will be so loved at PAWS until the right and perfect forever home comes forward, we send big purrs his way for him to find the right home.
ReplyDeleteOh what a sweetie. So sorry he didn't find the right place but hopefully he will when someone scoops this cutie up. Thank you so much for your kind words on the loss of our Lacci.
ReplyDeleteAww, Sherwood looks so sweet and charming in those photos. Sad to hear that he is back at the shelter - it does seem unfair. But we're sure he will find a new home in no time with his appeal :)
ReplyDeleteWe are glad the family was responsible enough to return Sherwood to you as he could have met a worse fate. He is a beautiful boy and young enough that someone will scoop him up soon. That, no doubt, will be the forever home he was meant to be in! :)

PepiSmartDog: poor Sherwood.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't sound right to let a human with allergies move in and ditch your pet to let that happen.
Hope Sherwood can get the right forever family this time.
