(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Sherwood

Our pal Sherwood would LOVE to meet you.  We're pretty sure about this, because this handsome and sweet mancat loves EVERYONE he meets.

Sadly, Sherwood finds himself back at the shelter after being adopted a couple of years ago, because "...someone with allergies moved into his house."  We don't think that's fair, but the volunteers and staff at PAWS will be sure to give Sherwood lots of love and attention while he waits for his REAL forever home.

Gentle Sherwood also enjoys being pet, helping his volunteer pals read the newspaper, and playing. And he has the cutest high-pitched meow ever.

He's about 2 1/2 years old, micro-chipped, neutered and up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.  Come meet Sherwood today.  You'll be glad you did (and so will he)! :)

  3. Sherwood, what a handsome man you are. We hate so much that you were returned. Our dad has bad allergies, and he lives with eight of us. These things can be controlled. You have the most precious face so we think you will have a new home very soon. Sending all our purrs and prayers. 6. What a love! I have read a lot about cat allergy medications this week. Sorry that the breakthrough wasn't soon enough to keep Sherwood out of the shelter again but hopefully the days of that excuse are over. And Sherwood deserves forever love, I can tell!

  13. Poor Sherwood!! It really upsets me when people give the allergy excuse when returning cats. I know that some people's allergies are life-threatening, and I understand in those cases why people can't live with kitties, but if your allergies are like most, there's some sniffling, runny nose, and watery, itchy eyes, and many many medications available to help them.

I hope this sweet baby finds his real forever home very soon. He sure is cute!

  45. PepiSmartDog: poor Sherwood.
Doesn't sound right to let a human with allergies move in and ditch your pet to let that happen.
Hope Sherwood can get the right forever family this time.
