We'd like to introduce you to our adorable and adoptable tuxie friend Ruby.
It made us very sad to learn that Ruby came to PAWS because her beloved human passed away. It's clear from her sweet and trusting nature that she has been loved very much, and very well. And despite the sad circumstances surrounding her arrival here, it's also abundantly clear that this petite beauty is still all about giving and receiving love (she adores snuggles). And everybody could use some more love in their lives, right? :)
Ruby is about 10 1/2 years young. She's spayed, up-to-date on all of her vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
she is so sweet - I imagine you won't have trouble finding a new furever home.
ReplyDeletePet lovers please check out my homeless cat blog archives for some informative posts and stories about the cat abandoned/feral colony I manage.

She is so beautiful and sweet. I've kind of decided that if my pets pass away and I am wanting another, that I'll adopt a senior. They deserve to live out their remaining years with lots of love, and they have lots to offer. <3

She looks so sweet with her curly tail. Surely she won't wait long for her new home.
ReplyDeletePretty kitty. Hope she finds a good home.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty girl! She certainly doesn't look to be a 10+ year old cat, especially that first photo.
ReplyDeleteHope she finds her new forever home soon.
such a cutie! Thank you, PAWS, for being there for her :) we hope it won't be long before Ruby finds her new forever home! purrs,

Rube, don’t take your love to town. Those are the saddest circumstances. When peeps’ friend Rick passed away, he left behind a 16-year old cat that had belonged to his late wife. Fortunately, someone in the complex adopted Rick’s cat.
ReplyDeletePoor girl! That must be so difficult, being torn away from her home and loved one. We hope her new family finds her quickly, so she can do what she does best - give love and happiness to those in her life.
ReplyDeleteAw, poor sweet Ruby! Sad that happened to her, but she couldn't be in better company I'm sure. Good luck Ruby!
ReplyDeletewhat a cutie. I just don't get why people do not make arrangements for someone to adopt their cat when they pass away. It's unthinkable to me that anyone would leave this to chance and risk their beloved furry friend ending up in a shelter. Purrs to this sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteit's hard losing you human and home in old age but she looks lovely, if a little sad. purring she finds a second chance for many years of happiness to come.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sad story...but how wonderful this sweet girl is still showing her love. We hope she finds a wonderful home. We're so sorry for the loss of her beloved guardian.
ReplyDelete(((purrs)))

ReplyDeleteWe ask the Universe to quickly get this lovely senior girl a forever family as loving and as caring as her person that crossed the Bridge. She deserves to spend her days in happiness and security with her memories...old and new.
ReplyDeleteRuby…you are stunning. Hope you can snuggle up to just the right person and get a quick trip to a new and loving home. Good luck! Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

It is so sad when we lose them or they lose us. I don't know Ruby's circumstances but if some family member did not take her it breaks my heart. Those eyes tell such a story. I am hoping that she finds another good home to be adored in.
ReplyDeleteThis makes my eyes leak so much. Poor poor baby. She must miss her family so badly and not understand. May she find a loving mom or dad quickly.
