Easy Like Sunday - Gem

Beautiful Gem is a real sweetheart, but she doesn't always show well to potential adopters because she's shy around new people.  She's taking it easy today, and dreaming of a nice, quiet forever home and a person of her very own.

  1. It's a mystery to me why Gem has been overlooked for so long. Sometimes I think there's as much of a problem getting white cats adopted as black cats.

  10. Purring for the pretty gem of a girl to be adopted soon. I do think having some kind of live cam installed in the enclosures might help potential adopters see how she interacts with people she is familiar with.

  20. Gem is a real beauty. She reminds us of our handsome angel, Madison. He was rather shy himself, but the most loving kitty of other kitties we've ever known. Good luck to Gem. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

My heart goes out to the shy kitties...That's how Katie would be if she were in a shelter and it crushes me to know there are so many kitties hiding in the corner or inside a cubby, to shy or scared to interact. They just need a chance.

  37. Oh Gem! Malou understands completely. She is always a little bit shy of people when they come over but when left alone she does come out and then is very entertaining! And with us, she is the most affectionate of all the kitties! We hope you get your chance to shine sweetie :)
