Beautiful Gem is a real sweetheart, but she doesn't always show well to potential adopters because she's shy around new people. She's taking it easy today, and dreaming of a nice, quiet forever home and a person of her very own.
Gem is such a pretty girl! I hope she gets somebody who is understanding, and soon. Thank you for the purrs and prayers! We really appreciated them. We're sorry it took our Mommy so long to come and thank you.
Purring for the pretty gem of a girl to be adopted soon. I do think having some kind of live cam installed in the enclosures might help potential adopters see how she interacts with people she is familiar with.
Gem is a real beauty. She reminds us of our handsome angel, Madison. He was rather shy himself, but the most loving kitty of other kitties we've ever known. Good luck to Gem. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Gem is like a sparkly pearl from the South Seas. We all purr greatly that her forever home arrives swiftly so she can enjoy her own happily ever after.
Beautiful Gem, just look at that cute little pink nose. We so hope your forever family comes to you soon. You sure look comfy taking that nice easy. Hugs and nose kisses
Gem is such a beautiful girl. My heart goes out to the shy kitties...That's how Katie would be if she were in a shelter and it crushes me to know there are so many kitties hiding in the corner or inside a cubby, to shy or scared to interact. They just need a chance. xxoo GG
Oh Gem! Malou understands completely. She is always a little bit shy of people when they come over but when left alone she does come out and then is very entertaining! And with us, she is the most affectionate of all the kitties! We hope you get your chance to shine sweetie :)
We have nominated you for an award. Please check our latest post for details. Hope you don't already have it. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at www.thecatonmyhead.com, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
We have a couple of fosters who do not warm well to strangers. I pray that you can find homes for all of the kitties you are fostering - blessings to you.

It's a mystery to me why Gem has been overlooked for so long. Sometimes I think there's as much of a problem getting white cats adopted as black cats.
