BEAUTIFUL HOUSE PANTHER ALLIE HAS FINALLY FOUND HER FOREVER HOME! :)
Her new mommy (PAWS volunteer Laura) says: "Allie is doing well. She is a sweetie pie. We are so happy we got her! and so happy we are able to give her a loving home. She was introduced to the upstairs, next it will be our other 2 black kitties we have."
Much love to you and your forever family, Allie. We are over the moon for you all!
Big congratulations are also in order for Crazy Horse, Gus, Oliver (from foster), and Peanut, who were also adopted!

Yay for Allie and her new family! Its terrible how people avoid black cats, its like judging a book by its cover. Thankfully Allie's long wait is over and we hope she and her family are very blessed.
ReplyDeleteWe're over the moon for Allie! She looks so sweet.
ReplyDeleteHurray for Allie and her furrever family!
ReplyDeleteI am super happy for sweet and beautiful Allie! I don't get people who won't look at a cat for adoption just because she or he is black. I volunteer at the shelter and frankly, I only fall for the cat's personality, be it black, white, young, old... And to be completely hones, I LOVE them ALL!
ReplyDeleteWe are so happy for Allie - in the UK black cats are lucky.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Paws up for Allie!
ReplyDeleteI am very happy that Allie has got her forever home at last. Two of the cats who came before were black brothers.
ReplyDeleteWe're so happy Allie has found her forever home.

How wonderful! She's such a beautiful kitteh. We hope everyone will be very happy together.
ReplyDeleteOh that is so exciting. Black cats are the very best. We have three of them and they are all terrific. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteWe can't believe that black cats have such a hard time finding homes. They are the best!!
ReplyDeleteAnd we're so happy Allie has finally found her home...we now she'll be very happy!
YAY FOR ALLIE!
ReplyDeleteThe statistics for black cats make us sad
Oh yay I'm so happy for Allie! I hope she will settle down in her new home and with new family quickly. (I'm sure she will!)
ReplyDeleteYay for Allie and her new family!
ReplyDeleteWOOOO HOOOOO!!! They are so lucky to have Allie in their fambly!!
ReplyDeleteHurrah for ALLIE! My folks specifically looked for a black cat after I told them about the low adoption numbers.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! Sweet Allie, congratulations! Purrs....
ReplyDeleteYeah for Allie. That is a long wait but sounds like well worth it :)
ReplyDeleteVery happy for Allie!!
ReplyDeleteIt is really sad that the black kitties get passed over for adoption. That's how I got my Mickey -- I was helping a friend find homes for his mistake-kittens, and no one wanted the black one! So of course I had to adopt him, and he's a wonderful boy.
Awwwww , we so happy fur you Allie & all de otherz ov-coarse!! ^.,^ We jus dun't understand why no-one wantz de black kitties ?????? Da mom sayz she luvz owr Larry soooooo much, and dat he iz de last piece ov her ♥ .... whatefur dat meanz ^..^ We thinkz pantherz are de Best ! ^.,^

ReplyDeleteAllie I am so happy for you sweetest girl! <3 and hugs to your new mommy.
ReplyDeleteYAY for Allie!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're so happy for her and her new family.
xo
Mommy says that she never understands this about black kitties. She says it must be superstition. She loves black kitties and would adopt everyone of them that needed a home if Dad would let her. Cocatulations to Allie and her new family as well as to all the other adoptees. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
ReplyDeleteAww... I'm so happy for Allie!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful news for Allie! We hate foolish superstitions, especially when it comes to animal welfare and it is so encouraging to hear of positive adoption stories. Purrs from the Zee and Zoey gang
ReplyDeleteJune Buggie says purrs for Laura for giving Allie a forever home!
ReplyDeleteYay Allie! I love her black furs. So sad she didn't have a real home for that long, but glad that someone finally took her in!
ReplyDeleteFinally, someone for Allie! Yay! Has fake Katie found her home yet?? I voted for you again.
ReplyDeleteAs a proudly black kitty myself, I am super happy to hear that Allie got herself a furever home! Hip hip hooray! XOXOXOXO
ReplyDeleteWe can't understand how anybody who claims to love kitties could even THINK of DISCRIMINATING against a kitty simply because his or her fur was black!!! Our Human says one of the things that most attracted her to Trixie was her beautiful, black glossiness. We are SO-O-O-O-O happy that beautiful Allie has finally found the fur-ever home she deserves.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you, Sweet Allie and to your new Mummy, Laura. Live long and purr-osper.
So happy that Allie has a wonderful home, she was a very patient girl!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the black cat nonsense that goes on!!! They are such wonderful kitties, our Kip is the sweetest boy ever! I told Robert we are only adopting black cats from now on...not that we're really adopting any currently, we're pretty full up - LOL!!!
Congratulations to Allie!! Yes, I have heard that about black cats. It's sad. I had an all black cat named Merlin and he was the sweetest cat and so gentle and loving! Sadly, he died of kidney failure and I still miss him. I've found black cats to be among the most loving and great "lap cats!"
ReplyDeleteYay, we're so happy for Allie! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Allie! She looks like such a sweetie pie. I have read that about black cats (and dogs) not faring as well in shelters. My sister has two black cats and says they steal hearts not souls. :-) Her second black cat had been in the shelter for almost two years, and is a senior, so had two "strikes" against him. She drove from Georgia to NC to get him after I found him online for her. So proud of my little sister! Hubby and I both had a black cat when we met, but his didn't like me and defected to go live with my sister and mine didn't like him and defected to go live with my parents, so we don't currently have black kitties of our own, but I'm sure that will change. :-) So happy for Allie!
ReplyDeleteYYAYYAAAAAAAYYAYAYAAAYYYYYYY
ReplyDelete* jumps up and now with total happiness *
Attagirl!!!
YAY for Allie and her new family!!
ReplyDeleteThe cat who lived here before me was a black cat and furry much loved <3
My mom can´t understand why people avoid black cat´s ?!
XOXO
I am so happy to read that this beauty has found a loving home with someone named Laura! I have had three black cats in my lifetime--including one of my current kitties. All of them full of personality and love. People like the loving volunteers at PAWS help erase these notions, and people like me are so grateful!
ReplyDeleteHooray for all the kitties who landed in forever homes.
Peace everyone! (Voting every day!!!)
That statistic is weird! I am a big fan of black. I've always preferred black dogs and cats over any color. In fact, out of all our dogs, almost half are pure black. Some of them have white chest areas, though.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!! I love hearing news like this!!
