Happy Halloween (and Thank You)!

In the spirit and colors of Halloween, we proudly present (most of) the black, orange and calico cats of PAWS.  Be sure to click on the picture to "biggify" it, so you can see all of these oh-so-adoptable beauties! :)

THANK YOU all who sent messages, purrs, prayers and good thoughts our way!  We at Animal Shelter Volunteer Life weathered Hurricane Sandy pretty well.  And we're happy to say that PAWS and all the animals there are safe and sound, too.

To those still dealing with the effects of Sandy, please know that we are thinking of you.

    I'm so glad to hear that you, Tracey, and the kitties are okay. Our power is still out, but at least I can shower at work. I was also glad to hear yesterday that the shelter and the animals were okay!

    We were all very worried about you, your wife and the kitties. Angel from Mewsings of Garden Cats in NJ left me a voice mail to assure me she, her husband and kitties were OK but they are without power for 7-10 days. She specifically wanted to know how you and several other furriends are doing. I will give a very brief acall to her cell and let her know. xox
