Sweet
Yankee (who is available for adoption together with his sister
Doodle) WAS enjoying a nice, quiet snooze. Darn that pawparazzi! :)
Reminder: Please remember to spread the news ... this Sunday (03/25) is "Senior Cat Sunday" at PAWS! The special adoption event, which runs from NOON to 4:00 pm, will serve to showcase the many wonderful older (7+ years old) PAWS cats looking for loving forever homes.
That looks like a very comfy bed Yankee!!! Enjoy :-)
ReplyDeletePS we have your adoption event badge on our sidebar!
Yankee, we're glad you woke up long enough so we could see your cute face!
ReplyDeleteI think Yankee was ready to play in that last photo! He must be fairly young to be able to go from zzzzz to awake and ready for action like that!
ReplyDelete@Cat: Thank you SO much for putting our Senior Cat Sunday badge and link in your sidebar. We really appreciate your support, and your friendship! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the title "snoozus interruptus"! Great pictures.

the critters in The Cottage xo
Hi Kevin and Tracey, You inquired as to whether the cats in my garden are feral. I am not sure. I think that someone probably turned them loose, as I haven't been seeing them in the area for very long. Both are very afraid of me. Hope your adoption event goes well. One of the shelters I work at has different prices for kittens/puppies, dogs/cats under a certain age, and seniors, all the time. Another shelter has specials like a 40 hour adopt-a-thon where the first 40 cats and first 40 dogs adopted are $40, then the rest $55. They are currently having a $50 special price on dogs except for puppies 6 months and under. It does help to get the shelter cleared out some.
ReplyDeletethanks for the reminder of Senior Cat Sunday. I will have to remind Lynettea in case she forgets.
ReplyDeleteNever any privacy with humans around.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Mom Tracey!
We stopped by again to wish Tracey a very Happy Birthday! And we purr that the senior adoption event tomorrow is a HUGE success!!

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great perch to take a nap, Yankee. If you curl up enough, sometimes the beans can't even see you up there. Anne Bonny does that all the time.
ReplyDeleteHappy Burrrrthday to Mom Tracy.
Sooooooo sweet! Love the photos!!
ReplyDeleteWishing the mom here a Happy Birthday!
Such cute pictures. From that expression, we're guessing Yankee went back to sleep soon after the photo shoot ;)
