Remember our pal Kessa, who in October, finally found her very own forever home after waiting for 2 1/2 years? Well, her new mommy wrote us to say:
Cassie (formerly Kessa) is "a wonderful addition to (our) family." |
"I just wanted to let you know that Kessa (now known as Cassie) is doing great. She enjoys naps in a variety of places and enjoys a spirited game of tag every morning with the other girls. Zoom, zoom up and down the stairs. She also likes to surprise me by getting on top on the refrigerator. She is very cuddly and has a tongue like a wire brush, which she loves to use on my face. Thank you for taking such good care of her. She is a wonderful addition to our family."
Now that's what we call a happily ever after!
Have a great weekend, everybody! :)

What a happy, happy story for Kessa/Cassie, and all the others whose lives you saved and completely turned around. You and the other volunteers are the BEST! We hope Sandy Paws brings you the best presents EVER!!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful read. That's what we all need this time of year. I have had problems with the holidays for years since the kids left home, but now, thanks to my little four footed friends, all discards and stray we've adopted over the past 10 years (well, 2 just walked over and adopted us), Christmas is getting to look a little bit more like itself again. My 6 little furchildren have helped in lots of things.
ReplyDeleteJust want folks to know that the little cats are NOT a problem. They are a blessing, and they are NOT animals without souls and don't understand love. The DO have souls, and the DO love. You come visit with us here at Five Oaks Manor and you will see love. You will get love if you welcome it. They love everyone that loves them.
Sorry, I talk too much today. Thanks for the visit at our place. I'll be back. See you all around.
What a lovely post, how happy it makes me to see so many kitties happy and safe for the holidays. And it must be a great feeling when you hear how well previous graduates are doing :)

Thanks for commenting on my Fundraising for Cat Protection Society post! Just wanted to let you know of an update with my fundraising page - I've decided to give people more incentive to donate by doing 2 giveaways. The fundraising page will be active for 6 months so at the end of the first 3 months I'm going to draw all the donors out of a hat and they will win their choice of anything from my Etsy store (there will be even more cool art and apparel in there soon too!). At the end of the 6 months I'll do it again :o)Just wanted to inform you of the update, and thanks again for visiting The Purr Diaries!!!
