... that PAWS (the shelter at which we volunteer) in Norwalk, CT houses not just lots of kitties available for adoption, but doggies, too? Our friend Cindy (who is also a volunteer) has a blog about the many wonderful woofies available for adoption at the shelter. Please check out her site ("Scratch My Belly") here.

[Oh, and just in case you're wondering ... the handsome little woofie in the picture above is former PAWS resident Taco. :) ]
Well, we guessed that there were probably doggies there too - but we are excited to go meet Cindy and check out her blog! And it sounds like the Bark in the Park will be a fun fundraiser - we send you lots of good luck and hope it raises a lot!
ReplyDeleteOh, and lest we forget to mention it - Taco is a cutie!
Now I admit, I am much more of a cat person than a dog person, but Taco is cute!
ReplyDeletePaws crossed that Bark in the Park is a huge success for PAWS. (I will personally go around to every foster home Alley Cats and Angels has and cross the paws of each kitty - it just might take a while!!)
Taco is sure a cutie-pie!!! That sure was lots of good info and I will go visit Scratch My Belly!
ReplyDeleteOh Taco is adorable. I love doggies..or rather my mom does..not me particularly.
ReplyDeletebonks bonks
Taco is soooo cute! I am cat person but like doggies, too.
ReplyDeleteWe are partial to cats ourselves, for obvious reasons, but we also recognize that d*gs can be in need of help and rescue. We're glad there are good humans out there who help those who need it so much.
ReplyDeleteGlad to know that there is a section for doggies too. We went and visited the blog. Thanks for telling us about it and we have written down the link.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Taco is a real cutie!!...Best of luck to all the kitties and doggies=we hope they all find forever homes, wishing them comfort as they wait for their loving families...Happy week, sweet friends...kisses...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteTaco has an interestingly cute face.
ReplyDeleteHope the doggies find loving homes soon.
aww... Taco looks so huggable.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute woofie!!!
ReplyDeleteTaco is such an adorable little boy!
ReplyDeleteWe are pleased that doggies, as well as cats, are helped, by yoo kind folk. It makes us happy. Fanks.
ReplyDeleteyep. d-o-g-s need love too. You are lovely and we could even love them too. Love Darcy and Bingley xx
ReplyDeleteTaco is a sweetie - Mom still has friend in Ct from when we lived there so will pass this on!
ReplyDeleteTaco is a very cute doggy and I think his name suits him, don't you? I wish I lived in CT so I could help all of those animals find a home! I will pass along the information though!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Woofies. Well, fine I guess, just as long as one of them doesn't end up HERE!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to find your blog through the Blog Hop! It is so unique and a great perspective on being a shelter volunteer! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteTaco is very handsome. No surprise he was quickly dashed away by a happy family. He is probably living in luxury right now: tv, snacks, snuggly bed, pets,... oh! and TOYS!

Working at the shelter is great fun and very rewarding. Mom hangs around ours in Waterford alllll the time drops of food and blankies too
It's so nice to meet you guys! What a sweet little fella Taco is!
ReplyDeleteTaco is sooo cute!
ReplyDeleteAs we saw that Taco is a former member of PAWS, he has found his forever home. Hooray for that. It's so great what PAWS does for Woofies and Kitties and that you are a part of it. Mom just said she hasn't been to the Pet Store to look at the puppies and kittens lately. I know if she was to get one, which we can't cause we are over our limit here, she would go to the shelter to get one there. She couldn't afford the price for the woofies at the pet store anyhow.

You guys are so sweet to mention BITP AND Scratch My Belly - I'd better get updating!!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, we've given you an award - stop by to pick it up!
