(Almost) Wordless Elphaba

Look up "straight up adorable" in a dictionary, and you might just find a photo of our sweet and adoptable little buddy Elphaba. I mean, just LOOK at her!

 

In addition to being the very epitome of cute, Elphaba is super friendly and a true joy. This 7-month-old loves people and other kitties (especially those who like to play, too). Miss Waffles was born and raised in a busy warehouse, where she spent her days surrounded by hustle and bustle. But now that the warehouse has been sold, Miss Waffles is ready for a quieter life filled with love and attention. Dakota, who is about two years old, has already been through a lot in her young life. She was first rescued and brought indoors by some kind people who found her abandoned on the street. Handsome alert! Handsome alert! This is our awesome and adoptable pal Declan, who as you can see is one seriously good-looking mancat.

 

 

He also has the most sweet and snuggly personality! Declan is a genuine lapcat who loves being pet and even having his tummy rubbed.

 

 

Because he's so trusting of humans, we have little doubt this super friendly dude was someone's kitty at one time. Declan absolutely adores people and gets along well with other nice cats, too, so he'd be a perfect addition to almost any family. Like our beloved Target, Declan has tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life. According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species.

(Almost) Wordless Alexandra

This is our beautiful and adoptable new friend Alexandra. Don't you just love her big, bright eyes, round face, and fabulous whiskers?

 

 

This adorable one-year-old finds herself at PAWS after her good-for-nothing former humans tossed her and her brother outside to fend for themselves. Her brother was caught almost immediately, but poor Alexandra was so scared and skittish that it took rescuers three weeks to trap her. We're thankful she's here now, safe and loved, while she waits to be discovered by her true forever family.

 

Despite all she's been through, Alexandra still loves people. She's not too sure about other cats, though! Alexandra would probably be happiest in a home where she is your one and only kitty. We think our sweet and beautiful friend Bonita looks a lot like the main character in the Oscar-winning movie "Flow" in this photo. Do you see the resemblance?

While she may not actually be the cat in that movie, we can tell you that Bonita is an honest-to-goodness superstar. She's affectionate and gentle, and was this year's runaway winner in the "Best Momma to Seven Adorable Kittens" category. Yes, this tiny little ladycat birthed seven little housepanthers (who like their momma are sweet as pie and waiting to find their happily ever afters)!

 

Bonita, who is about 3 years old, was found alone and very pregnant on a cold and rainy Thanksgiving Day. She went straight into a foster home and gave birth to the septet of perfect little panthers you see above. (Almost) Wordless Cashmere

This is our super sweet and beautiful friend Cashmere, who is as soft as gentle as her name.

 

This pretty girl found her way to PAWS after a kind human found her wandering the streets, alone and frightened. We're so happy she's safe and loved now while she waits to be discovered by her lucky forever family. As you might imagine, Cashmere can be a little bit shy with people she does not know. But she warms up quickly, loves being pet and getting scritches, and is a great purrer! We really enjoyed hanging out this weekend with our friendly, handsome, and adoptable pal Five. Don't you just adore his big round eyes, super stripes, extra front toesies, and adorable pink nose?
